3. Do both parents need to be with him to apply for the passport?

4. how long does that usually take to receive.

5. what does RCCL do for the children that age? He is mature for his age. Would he go with the younger group or the older group?

6. dinner in the dining room, would thye sit us at a table with other adults with children?

7. I am Emerald on RCCL. Would he gain Emerald Status as well after the cruise?

Ok, so Carnival Triumph doesn't have any of the dining rooms open on Embarkation day for lunch.

Wondering if the National Monument is still a great snorkeling experience? Loved it years ago but have read mixed reviews lately. Coming in by ship so that would limit who we can use. Would love to hear you opinions and advice.

Thank you for your reply. When we snorkeled it 20 years ago it was the most fantastic thing I have ever seen. I am guessing it is not as good of reef as it used to be. May not be worth $200 for us to do it:(.

Wondering is the under water national Monument is still pristine? Years ago we loved it. I have read mixed reviews about The reef being dead but coming back. Also want to know if it is to shallow to snorkel comfortably.

has anyone taken the Carnival tour there?

We are booked in a cabin on Deck 8 near the bridge. Was wondering about the pros and cons of this location? Is there a place to sit by the bridge and see the ocean?

Also, would love info on the self service laundry area. Is it coin operated? If so what is needed?

On our recent (October) port stop we opted for a tour (private company) which was right outside the terminal door easy to spot and hop on..It was $20.00pp and was a 3 1/2 hour tour of the island which included the light house & rock formations etc..then upon return to the terminal we walked the port area for lot's of shopping...this filled our day easily...Enjoy !!
