  1. Because I have been on another social forum and they are saying what they have left in their group blocks... The cruise line prices appear unusually high because the Carnival price system raises prices when a cruise appears close to sold out. I am not sure how long they are allowed to hold the group blocks, but as soon as final payment is due they for sure have to release the cabins.

  2. I have a far out cruise I want to take and it appears "sold out" except for deck 1 and 2. I know this cruise is not sold out. The Travel agencies are holding large blocks of cabins I know for a fact. It just doesn't seem fair to me... I prefer to control my own booking. I will occasionally transfer it to a Travel Agent b4 final payment for a nice OBC etc.

  3. We are getting ready to go on a cruise. While on the cruise I want to book a few Future cruises. 1 I have the specific cruise I want to book. however on the others, can I book a far out date cruise as "Past Guest" and then later more it up and apply it to an "early saver" on another cruise? I have had no problem doing this before. Has anything changed?

Is "Early Saver" where you can get price drops up until 2 days, still the way to go on a specific cruise? I know on Early Saver if you make changes you pay a $50 penalty...

    Thanks for any advice!

  4. Well, I booked past guest for a far out date on the last cruise and applied them to the B2B we are taking very soon. Moved the dates up with no problem. Planning to do that on this cruise as well. Unless something has changed... So, someone please let me know if you book a "past guest" cruise onboard and then move it up to a new date and apply it to an Early Saver Rate, if the rules have changed. I learned that on Cruise Critic.
