So if I order a drink on a uk departure I will not pay 18% service charge?

Seems to me msc forget the exchange rate, how can the same drinks be so much higher in pounds, surely they should be less in pounds than euros.

We are from the uk and doing a land tour and the rocky mountaineer before boarding an alaskan cruise in April. We booked with our normal TA who booked it through a well known TA for canada .
