Hi Sorry to ask this question but we have never sailed msc before. When I have updated our info to do web check in is this enough for the extra 100 points, as it is saying on the document update your info for extra 100 points, have i done enough by filling in our web check in?

Also I have taken the web picture, will they take it again if they are not happy with it?

We had a wonderful meal in Butchers' Cut. We didn't try the other venues but Teppanyaki looked good.

I do not know whether to just book it and hope for the best, its just we do not like sushi, but the info mentions the teppanyaki table. The price seems good value for the 3 meals.

As we have already paid for the cruise will the cost be added to our on board account?

Could I ask if you know how the tryptic dining package works.

We normally cruise on NCL and you can choose to dine at one restaurant more than once, can you do this with MSC or will we have to dine at the 3 options once.

I have asked MSC and they said we might be able to swap them but it is up to the ship.

So glad for you all that you are getting the cruise, we never got to book it as our pcc said he could not book alaska cruises for us in the uk. He said he could get a usa booking agent to call us but by the time this happened the cruise had been taken off the website. :(

Please could I ask if anyone has done the tryptic package, if you can visit one restaurant more than once or only once for each restaurant? Also if you booked cirque over the phone could you pick the date you wanted to see the show.?

We have used this launderette a few times on our travels, we normally use the port bus and then walk up la rambla, the machines have built in washing detergent.

We were on the Jade in September and when we boarded we were ushered towards the buffet, however we noted from these boards that the mdr was open for lunch and had a lovely quiet lunch in grand Pacific. Loved the Jade.

We booked the same deal with free drinks package (not vouchers) and I asked if we could upgrade to the premium package and was told no. As the package was free if you want the premium drinks package you have to pay full price for it.

Thanks for the comments but the cruise tour had been removed from the uk website. Looks like the price was too good to be true.

Glad that you have started this thread Malemew as I have been checking out this cruise.

I have sent my pcc an email with regard to this land cruise deal as the price seems too good too be true. As yet I have not had a reply.

I wanted to know if hotels are included in the price, and all tours listed, or do you have to pay extra.

I have read on the internet that food was not included on the land excursion portion, but for the price thats ok with me.

I have my eye on an inside for the price you quoted.:)

We just returned from a b2b on the Jade and the offer was, book on board and pay the price of the lowest category cabin but receive the highest category cabin, however we tried to book on two occasions but the cruise rep had no internet access.:(

We got off the Jade on Saturday, we were staying on in venice and were not in a rush to get off. We chose the latest timed luggage tags, approx 1030am, at 10am announcements were made to say all passengers needed to disembark.

We bought our BIRG ticket in the shop at the train station.

Not sure re MSC shuttle as we have never travelled with them, however it is a big port so would think they offer a shuttle to the drop off point.

Once at the drop off point you can get the local shuttle bus to the train station cost was 2 euro each.

Have seen others on cc mention that you can walk from the ship to the train station, but we have never done it.

Hi sorry I dont know for sure, however I have scrolled through some jade reviews from last year and it was mentioned that the last bus was 530/45 pm.

We are on the same cruise as you, below is the santorini local bus timetable.

I too was a little confused with the bus times, until I realised that they are offered by a private operator, included in the speedboat trip. So you could get the local bus back to Fira if you wanted to spend more time in Oia.

Moderno on the epic was open for lunch serving a mexican buffet, not sure what day but it was listed in the dailies.

We have used cbm twice, once in Civitavecchia and once in Naples. Both were great days out. Would use them again should the opportunity arise as I think they are now offering Florence trips as well.

You pick your drop time and leave your bags, the company stand is in the cruise terminal, and then pick up at the airport. Make sure you have plenty of time to find the pick up location at the airport as you may have to get from one terminal to another.
