  1. I guess there will be less chaos at the Manhattan cruise terminal that day and passengers can board sooner. Thank you all for the info.
  2. Looking at Getaway’s next week’s schedule and it appears that ship will reposition to NYC without any passengers from Port Canaveral. Am I looking it wrong? There will be a 12/08 to 12/11 cruise which ends at Port Canaveral then12/13/22 5 days to Bermuda from NYC. Just wondering why. TIA.
  3. Thank you all for the responses so far. Much appreciated thank goodness thank
  4. First time cruising since the pandemic. Feeling both excited and nervous. We normally would drive and park at the rooftop parking at the Manhattan cruise port but this time we will have someone with wheelchair. I have read from some posts indicated there will be longshoreman available at the rooftop parking area but I have not seen them from my experiences. Previously, I would drop off my family at the embarkation level and drive around to park at the rooftop. Could someone please confirm that there will be longshoreman at the rooftop parking area? It will be difficult to manage suitcases and wheelchair someone at the same time from the rooftop. In addition, how much to tip the longshoreman? Thank you in advance.
  5. I guess this is the only time when the small print is actually good to read. 😊. Thank you!
  6. I like to add that there will be 3 platinums in one stateroom.
  7. That’s good to know. I thought we only get two per stateroom as per Latitudes Rewards Tier Benefits for Platinum level
  8. Just wondering if it’s allowed to go back to MDR let’s say 1st time at 5:30pm and then to another MDR after the show let’s say at 9pm? Don’t want to go to buffet. Thanks in advance.
  9. @cruisin4familyfun Thank you! This is exactly what I was looking for. I wonder if we can sleep vertically instead of horizontally from the picture if you know what I mean. I know we can not sleep standing up. Lol. I want to give my dad the closest and fastest side to the restroom and he’s not tall so we might just sleep on the short side of the beds. ‘Don’t know why my reply posts didn’t show from earlier. Thanks again.
  10. Hi all, Thank you for asking the question and everyone who has answered. I could be in a similar situation as my dad uses his walker indoor, however, my dad and I will be staying in the 2nd bedroom and mom and sister will stay in the big room instead. Just wondering if anyone has pictures of the fully expanded (if possible) or made up bed from the second bedroom? How big is the second bed? I know there’s a drop down bed from the ceiling but with my dad’s condition I prefer sleeping near him in case he gets up during the night. If the bed is big enough to sleep two. Comfortable or not it’s not the issue for me. Thank you in advance.
