I have no idea but no matter what deck I choose for my cabin, they always have a cabin nearby. Screaming down the hall at each other in the middle of the night as if they are the only ones on board at 2, 3, 4 am.

You can grab a wifi signal from restaurants or Starbucks in ports to do your wifi calls.

On the Freedom last weekend. Had to go to guest services MULTIPLE times. First denied because I'm a travel agent. I explained I paid retail for this cruise and she sent another email. Second time, they wanted all of the documentation that I already supplied in May (and THREE recent months of statements). Third time, I checked and corporate had not yet responded. Left yesterday morning without the OBC applied. I received a denial of a different cruise (booked with a TA discount) and responded immediately with a question about the Freedom lack of response and was told it was applied. So, how do I find out where the money went?

I usually have the steward bring me an extension cord. I either use the liter bottle of spring water in the room or order a gallon of distilled. I won't drink the tap water and don't want to breathe it either. 🙂

I'm here now on Freedom. I've seen it. Believe it.

Currently on the Freedom sailing on my 25th Carnival cruise. This is a whole new side of Carnival that I've never seen before. The lines are never ending. I tried all week to get to the Mongolian Wok but the lines wrapped out into the elevator lobby. The Lido buffet was equally long. I gave up and went to the deli which was 30 minutes start to finish. FOR A SANDWICH. The checkin for breakfast on 1 morning said 10-20 minutes and the other 2 mornings said less than 10. I was never seated in less than 30 minutes. It took an hour yesterday from checkin (listed at less than 10 minutes) until I got tea and toast in the dining room. Today, I waited in my room for 45 minutes and then went to the dining room to see what was happening. I was no longer on the waiting list and they have no idea why. I was seated immediately but I'm glad I didn't just wait around in my room. I never got off the ship this sailing so I can't speak to how long it took to get on/off at the ports.

Have any of the ports thus far provided free or inexpensive shuttles from the ship to town?

If I had that balcony, I would have spent most of my time out there too. 🙂

I do. Some people do the deck parties, the sail away parties, the night club, the old hairy chest competitions, etc. That's definitely not my idea of a holiday. Some people read a book on their balcony in peace and listen to the ocean. That's me. We can all have fun.

Don't we all wish we did? Haha. Just feeling impatient.

I'm booked on 6/16. I'd really like to know if we are being canceled so that I can get on Conquest for next Monday instead.

Thanks for the review. I am anxiously waiting for my B2B2B to begin with the 7/10 sailing. How is the wifi? I've heard it is sluggish? I will have to do a few calls while on board. I've learned from previous cruises to work in the middle of the night when there are fewer users and that trying to work in the middle of a sea day is asking for a migraine.
