Prayers for all.
-
I'm sitting in the basil airport right now waiting for our flight o Amsterdam where will then pick up a flight to Toronto. Our plane here is delayed but that is all that is of concern to me.
-
I am in Europe now. Prior to boarding a river cruise I spent 2 days in Amsterdam. Having been there before, I can honestly say I didn't see anything different than the last time. I was approached by someone who asked in English if I knew where there was a place for the homeless. I had seen a youth hostel so directed him there. I realized after he was probably a refugee as there were a couple of things that made me think so.
I will be returning to Canada on Wednesday and back to the UK on dec. 21. I wouldn't hesitate to travel Europe whether by land or sea.
-
I leave tomorrow. Heading to Amsterdam and wouldn't consider cancelling. I. December I'll be in the UK for Christmas. Doing a TA in April with no chance of changing my plans.
-
Royal will not talk to you at all. If the OBC that was removed came from the TA you need to find out why from them. I'm assuming you are dealing with a large OTA and don't get the same person each time you call. If you have proof they offered it you will need to go after them. You can't cancel now without losing it all. At this point, you need to go over all your paperwork and try to find if there is something in the fine print.
-
Yes. I did it for one of my clients.
-
NOOOOOO! That links to all the problems we had on our cruise - My cabin was linked to someone else result- cruise from hell!!!!
What do I do my number was just assigned a few days ago and it only a few digits diff to my husbands which was assigned a hr or so later
This sounds like the possibility exists you are still attached somehow to the problems you had with someone else.
-
No I mean that when they do the booking in their name (the only name given at the pricing stage other is just passenger 2) - there is no discount even with their C and A number
When I do it with my name and passenger 2 no C and A number - I get the same price as they get but when I add my C and A I get $400 off the total for 2 passengers.
I understand that with both passengers listed and both C AND A numbers given that we will only get one discount off - but it only happens if I am lead and put in my C and A number
The problem is its my MIL that want to book and she appears to get no discount even although she sailed the same cruise as me and has the same points - PS I have no other discount boxes ticked (as none apply)
This does sound like there is an issue. I would call C&A. You don't want to book and then have them take the discount away down the road. Better to know upfront.
-
There are still C&A discounts available to gold members on certain cruises, just not the balcony discount.
yes I am aware of that which was why I said there could be other reasons.
-
My Dh and I live together and are the same age have only ever sailed on RCI once last year both in the same cabin lol so why do I get this good discount when I add my Crown and Anchor number into previous passenger booking forms and not him. - any ideas.
If you've only sailed once before, they have crossed your number with another person. They've been known to do that before.
-
Whatever it is, if he was denied and Royal is giving him a full refund, you can rest assured that it was a mistake on their end. They dont just give refunds out like candy that close to boarding day.
That isn't necessarily true.
-
You aren't getting a discount based on your C&A but there could be other reasons. Senior, place of residence, type of cabin. Did you book directly with RCl. It should tell you on your booking form.
-
They transferred mine, that's all I'm saying. It wasn't this far out, either.
What did they transfer? Your deposit?
-
Maybe they will be more accommodating since they are the ones canceling the cruise. If not, their loss. After our Eclipse cruise last winter, Celebrity was at the top of our list but if this cruise does get canceled, they will do some sliding down the ladder!
They will not transfer to either Azamara or RCCL. They are owned by the same parent company and the recognize position within their loyalty levels but that's as far as it goes.
-
NO, you won't be able to take the offer to RCCL. You will most likely be given 2 maybe 3 options on Celebrity or a straight cancellation.
When is your cruise?
-
That will be on the reflection or silhouette. If it is the package it includes hotel, air, cruise with drink Pgk and gratuities. It's actually a good price particularly from winnipeg as its really hard to get a direct flight from there. Well actuall the only direct flight is with west jet and that is only on Saturdays.
-
They haven't released the name of the hotel yet. It will be at least a 4 star. I'm waiting to hear as well.
-
Some hotels have them and will lend them to you but you really need the transformer as well as the adapter.
-
No - they have their own loyalty system, however, depending on your Celebrity level, you could get reciprocal perks.
-
2009 and 2010
-
Possible I'm wrong but they do that when people are sailing on the weekend following because there is an issue with the ship. Usually needs sanitizing.
-
I believe I was wrong.
-
Has anyone gone for a TA back to Royal?
And if the TA gave you any perks they don't go with you. Also the TA could have cancellation penalties.
-
Never sucks to be Canadian.

Yes two years is a long time but you have stated Rcl points as part of your total and they are definitely not. If you had 90 C&A points you have your answer.
