let's go cruising

We (me DW 56 and DH 58) are on this cruise with you and can't wait! I watched your videos on each port. I need to go back and rewatch so I can write down where you suggest to get a bite to eat. We have some excursions scheduled, but not all.

What advice do you have for Covid-conscience cruising?

Thanks! We are scheduled for 9 days and 12 hours from now. We are thinking of Lido for meals and taking food back to the room. (Trying to avoid Covid before, during and after cruise.) With the staffing issues, that might be a good thing to do. (We already paid our tips, so our waiters won't be hurt.)

We will be sailing in less than 2 weeks. I had heard some time ago that Carnival was providing masks. Is that still the case, or will we need to bring our own supply? If they DO provide them, what type are they? Thanks!

I had MUCH better luck calling the travel specialist number. I wasn't on hold and got people who could help. ALTHOUGH, when I wanted to cancel/rebook, I got a dud. I told my husband that it all depends on who answers the phone. He said to call right back to see if I got someone different. IT WORKED!

I'm not seeing the bus. Can someone post a link? Is this a bus that goes outside of the city and back? I know I saw there was something like that.

That sounds excellent! Were did you find this? I'm not seeing an excursion there.

Hello, we purchased the steakhouse reservations and have decided to cancel them. We were over two weeks pre-cruise when I cancelled them. The reservation is indeed removed from my planner, but I don't see where I have any kind of refund. Does anyone know how this works? Thanks, Renee

We will be on the Pride in a few weeks. We are very concerned about the possibility of getting Covid and not being able to return to the US. We are vaxed/2x boosted and insured. We will be wearing our masks in the airport/plane. HOWEVER we would really like to minimize our risks when eating. We've never been on the Pride, so we don't know if there are places we could take our buffet food besides our cabin. Also, could we take our food from the MDR to go?

I got an email today with the correct (new) flight information! I had to get the Airline App to do work for passports, etc. It was time consuming, so be sure to do it early.

I don't see the locator number yet. I called my PVP and SHE can't see the flights either! She sent an email to someone which could take 24 hours to respond. This seems weird to me. It's been 6 days since we rebooked our flight.

I changed flights this week for June 10 cruise. The attachment people have directed me to (thank you!) says: “Please check in at the ticket counter of the “Operated By” airline.” My cruise manager shows it’s paid for. I’ll be calling travel services Monday.

Me too! I just changed my flight and can’t find the new information. I had the old flight information!

Is this happening to you? I recently got my 2nd booster. My first booster was in October. I didn’t know anyone could have gotten a second booster back then.
