Are you allowed to bring them onboard without sneaking them on and if so is there limits? I cant find anything on ncl's site so I'm assuming we can.
-
Nope! Wasn't complaining, I was stating a fact. Now to stay on topic.... Has anyone else used the link and not received the call. Because just now I took the bull by the horns and called ncl myself and after being on hold for 30 mins I hung up.

The point I was trying to get across was why offer the call back option if they aren't going to call!!!!! Still no call [emoji41]

We're considering the Chef's Table on our next cruise, done the Steak House many times and looking for a new culinary experience. But we don't eat meat, do fish shellfish though. Would it be worth it, and do you think they might include some additional non meat entrees?
"IF YOU DONT EAT YOUR MEAT...YOU CANT HAVE ANY PUDDING!!!!!!!!!" YO!!! another beer here!!;):D:)

AHHH OK, I thought these were more like cruise specific not just a generic. TY!

I would like to see a picture of someone's also, I just read they do this at GSC now.

Ahhh ok I knew there was some kind of deal while onboard. I did send this thread To both technical services and public relations

Understand but the point here is they are not returning the calls from the request link on their site. I think you may be mistaken though about not being able to deposit a cruise while onboard

Over the past year while shopping for our upcoming cruise on NCLs website it was like clock work that the following day I would get a call from someone who told me they were my personal cruise consultant who seem to have know we were shopping. About 3 weeks ago while searching we were just about ready to go for it and after clicking around I thought I would get that call but it never came....no big deal. So I log in and get to the payment page for our upcoming Oct sailing to book on my own and get errors on the payment page...still no big deal, I click "CALL ME"......no call. So I call them after waiting 3 hours and after 15min on hold I finish my booking. (BTW the call never came) Now this morning I'm looking at booking another cruise for next March for my birthday and trying to decide if I should book it on my Oct. sailing or do it on my own. I figure let me ask NCL directly. I click "CALL ME" 8 hours later....crickets:confused: Are they making enough money that they ignore those call me clicks? I will also copy this Cruise Critic post and sent it to their customer service for their review as well.

Ok this leads into a question I have about printing your luggage tags. How do you attache them to your luggage?

Try spreadsheet 1.3. Since if you get a drink package your son will have to get the drink package version 1.3 takes that into account and let you know if you would still be saving money (and how much) by going with a package. The fine print states that everyone in the cabin must purchase a drink package if one gets it. That means that people under 21 must purchase a soda package. The spreadsheet I created takes that into consideration.
Ahhh OK

Our last NCL cruise was on the Dawn in 09. We thought the food in the mdr was mediocre at best. Yesterday we attended a luncheon on board the Breakaway and found the food to be excellent. We've been looking at cruise options for this fall that cruise from local ports (NYC) and the 12 day Gem came up as an option- good itinerary and price. Will the food be as good as we experienced on the Breakaway ( I know it was one meal and I'm sure they picked the menu to impress). What type of musical entertainment can we expect to find on the Gem. We prefer listening to live music- rock, pop, jazz, piano bar instead of the shows in the theater.
Thanks
We are looking at this same cruise in March 2015 for the same local port reason for my birthday and plan on booking it while onboard our Oct 2014 sailing. We have sailed the Gem and agree with you about the food, but we don't plan our cruises around food, it's better then we have at home after a days work. We just go to have fun and getaway from it all. Mediocre food on a cruise is better then a good dinner at home after work:)

this spreadsheet is a great tool

Everyone over 21 on the booking has to get it

That's assuming the son is over 21. Only people in the same cabin 21 and older have to purchase it

Also as per usual big shout to Gambee for taking the time on his cruises to take photos of everything and to everyone who has but that spreadsheet into a more accessible link since I suck at putting things in the "cloud"!
here is the attachment

here's a great spreadsheet to see if the package is worth it.Dont forget to input the # of cruisers on the package towards the bottom

I have yet to make our final payment for our Oct 2014 7day cruise that we booked about 2 weeks ago and just logged into my ncl acct. UBP is available for me to buy at 54.00 pp. .....869.40 total after gratuity and tax
-
Maybe this is a stupid question but on a 7 day cruise do you pay the 54pp on all 7 days? What about embark and debarked days? I figuring 378.00 per person? Correct?

We booked a guarantee and will take what we get and like it, let ncl pick for us

And if you're in a cat BC as previously posted by computerworks, be prepared to put those trays on your knees to eat from:

LOL not much room to lay out a big spread, huh?
Plate in hand is all we need, not a 3 corse meal. Plate in hand Bloody Mary on the table I can picture it in that picture TY!

Do you know if you can go get "food to go" from one of the MDR's or buffet and bring it back to your room to eat on the balcony?
Yup, throw it on a plate and walk back to your cabin

minisuites, balconies and inside cabins have a reduced room service menu that does not include hot items like eggs, pancakes, etc.
The only cabins that have the extended menu is "S" or "H" cabins.
You can however order a bloody mary to go with your chocolate croissant, cereal, toast, yogurt, muffin, fresh fruit, coffee, tea etc! :)
LOL! Thank you, I guess I will have to have that bloody Mary delivered then, so this way I can go top side to make 2 breakfast plates and walk back to cabin with both hands full
