Holiday of July 4th Independence day is not what I asked about, I asked about fireworks displayed by cruise lines seen onboard, and as well from aboard, and in areas. not saying it all

That's why there are security cameras. And besides, if someone is stupid enough to leave anything of real value on a chair and they leave it there for hours, they only have themselves to blame. :rolleyes:

Camera or not my friend. the point I was getting at and filling in with items if a wallet/purse to a simple piece of paper..

People will always find a way to... fill the rest in if you like....

THAT doesn't bother me. There are people there waiting for others to show up. Now if those seats are open right as the show is about to begin, they're "free game" as far as I am concerned at that point.

 

As for those who lay towels to save chairs, etc., there's a lost & found I like to use for such items.... :D

Never going to happen in todays World on a cruise ship, the very important rule is Safety, and everything else that follows along, manners, respect, guidelines. people will always find a way to avoid them. You see it all around you at home - to work, and out and about

I do my best not to hog a chair, or chairs around me.

I do respect others especially the Elderly. some need more attention than others as well kids and others around you.

Today I rather again mind my business than grab attention.

It takes one person to say my purse/wallet was in that towel, and he/she threw it away, and before you know it security has both parties. taken out and ruining your vacation...

For some this is a game.

It's Like a Parking spot you may not find any for an hour, see people taking more room then others, and opening on the spot

No other place in the World or the best B & W is the Big Apple and the bakeries they makem at.

It can go both ways. the Shore excursion canceled our tour because the lack of people interested.

And even with the tour filled they added a bus. so it can be very misleading.

Sorry, nope. I don't. I don't decorate for holidays either. I have better - and more fun - things to do than waste time putting stuff up and taking it down. Especially when 9 times out of 10 I'm not even at my apartment for holidays.

Alone, a group, whatever you do, is great. We again travel with ta t group there is a difference. Since I am here talking about signs, I shall be keeping to the topic.

Posting a sign is an option. It is like a family shirt, a graduation written on a car. etc. something to talk about.

If it does not please you, move on.

I have traveled with groups, with my family, and with friends in addition to traveling alone. And there is nothing wrong with traveling alone.

 

I am curious as to why liking to handle my own arrangements rather than use a Travel Agent indicates that I travel alone though. When I travel with family and friends we do our own thing also. No travel agent needed when we are perfectly capable of making our own reservations. I have looked into it, and they do nothing I cannot do myself - except make harder for me to do anything as I would have to go through them to get anything noted or changed on my reservation.

 

Clearly you are or are very close to a travel agent to think they are the only way to book anything.

If I used a travel agent and their idea of "trying their best to please me" was to slap a sign on my door, that would be the last time I'd use that travel agent. There are far better ways to "please me" than a cheap magnetic door cling.

guess that is why you travel alone. :D

some travel agents go beyond thecall, and try their best to please and show how hard they work to make your cruise better.

that is one point some of the people here MISSED.
