  1. Valid, but Total Wine is also notorious for selling just at/slightly above cost. In CT they've got in trouble for selling below MAP. Beer is not a money maker unless they are selling for huge markups retail (like on a boat or in a bar), you make money on liquor and wine much faster.
  2. Because I know what it costs wholesale. Beyond having my own liquor license, I used to work in purchasing for a large company. Beers are only brewed in certain places so the idea of 'buying outside the country' is invalid.
  3. There is not a single beer on their list under $1.00. A 12oz bud light is $.96 they server 16OZ, over $1.00 (I want to say about $1.10/can, maybe more since its one of those twist of cans) AT COST - then add in the expense of ordering/storing/serving. Not sure if they have to pay a deposit on top of that too, which inevitably they don't 100% get back since most people just toss into regular trash.
  4. Any all inclusive resort, music festivals, etc. Except those can have thousands of people coming together a few days (or longer) at a time and then moving on to the next large event, no shots or testing needed.
