Good morning. I have a dilemma and hope someone might know the answer or have some advice. We are booked on the GEM in March thru CAS. I recently had hip surgery and although I think I will be fine to go, I do think I would be better off in a handicapped room. We are currently booked in a balcony room. Do you think it possible for me to call CAS and tell them I need a handicapped room? Although there aren't any currently available on site, will they move someone out of a handicapped room for me? Of course only looking to move someone who really doesn't need one. I know sometimes people book rooms and cannthen be moved if necessary. Any thoughts or advice? TIA.

My sister in law got off Pride this morning. This is what she texted us......We were in the middle of the hurricane the ship tilted to the side everything was falling off the counters. The plastic wall between balconies shattered we had all the glass on our deck. TVs fell off shelves from the passengers on the opposite side of us. I was throwing up, crying, gathering important documents to take and waiting for the ship to flip over.

We are on Splendor Premier Cruise on Sept 24th. That's all we sail now....Premier cruises. Some of the best cruises we have done. A lot of fun. You will love it.

I start Bonine 2 days before cruise and take around dinner time each night of cruise. Also drink during cruise and have never had any ill effects doing the 2.

Can you use Carnival transportation from and to an airport if not flying? Looking to do this for our Vista cruise out of NYC in November. Parking at pier out of the question, would cost $495. Too much luggage for train....we could book Carnival transportation for $126 from Newark airport which is only 20 minutes from house. Is this possible?

Just want to add that it is great to see activities for the day, check your onboard account. Just not great for communication a lot of the time. And you do need to connect to wifi

Pride does have app. 4 of us used it last week. However, it is very spotty and you have no notification if someone sends you a message. You have to constantly reconnect and check your phone constantly to see if text. But for $5 for the week give it a try.
