  1. Just called CAS on cruise I booked last week My second cabin was adjusted by $400 based on prices today and able to keep UBP. My cabin was comped originally. Happy for our friends traveling with us. Love CAS.

  2. Has anyone called Players Club for pricing on an upcoming cruise? Do they give a discounted price? I am looking at a cruise in August and comparing Carnival pricing with NCL. NCL CAS is offering me cruise at 50% off. Does Carnival Players Club do similar offers? Thanks in advance.

  4. We were on GEM in November in a balcony. As soon as we hit home I called NCL and changed our room to Mini Suite for our upcoming cruise on Gem in March. We mainly changed because of bathroom size. Wanted a bigger bathroom. We were on deck 10 mid ship for balcony close to elevators and moved right above to deck 11 for mini suite. Review ship decks for location if you are doing mini suite as deck 11 is right under pool and buffet area. Could be noisy in a few locations.

  5. So, we booked 2 rooms to get casino promotion and bring our friends with us. One is under my name and the other is under my husbands. I have friends husband lusted with me and his wife is with my husband. When we get in ship should we go to Guest services and ask husbands name to be switched to the correct cabins it should we just ask for extra room key for each room to give to husbands? We have never booked this way before and am looking for some guidance.

    Thanks for your help.

  6. We also were on that cruise. It did seem like a lot if things were just a little off. I attribute it to having just completed the 2 day cruise to nowhere. Staff and many passengers said it was crazy and exhausting for all. If I hadn't traveled on NCL before I never would have known about debarkation rules and going to get tags for bags down by guest devices etc. our steward left us no information at all. He was never around forgot things we asked for etc. I think he was just plain tired. But as many say..... Any cruise is a good cruise. Will be back on Gem in March. Hoping all construction for all things to be done will be completed
