The only benefit is a larger cabin, better champagne, full size bottles of alcohol, and actual space to dine or entertain in your cabin, if desired. The extra half bath is a great benefit if two of you are traveling. The balconies in the front of the ship are not usable while you are sailing (too windy) and also lack shade. That won’t be a problem in the Wintergarden Suite.

The perils of travel during a pandemic. This travel is against the advice of the U.S. government so you are on your own. You must expect changes until your board your flight and most likely before you return home. On Celebrity you will also be sailing with unvaccinated passengers unlike other lines. Good luck with your decision to travel and stop blaming Celebrity and the governments of the countries or our try you will visit for changes I. Health protocols.

We usually tip $20 for a half day excursion, $40 for a full day unless the tour guide is a dude and that has only happened two times. We also tip the driver at least $10 as they have a difficult job and it takes a lot of skill.

How do you have a reservation without a deposit? We always have to send a deposit when we make our initial booking.

We have definitely heard noise from a connecting cabin on the Solstice class ships. We get to our room before midnight, but the connecting cabin came in later. They spoke and argued loudly. We avoid connecting cabins and we now always bring ear plugs.

I would do a test ahead of time. That’s a long way to travel if you get a positive test. At least you will know you were negative before you left.

Is that actually a pool?! It looks like a hot tub.

You will be invited to special events with that suite on Azamara, including a special dinner with the top officers in the Library, Best of the Best. On Azamara you will also have the White night party and the Azamazing Night at one of your ports. Never had a problem making reservations to the Specialty Restaurants, ate in one every evening. We always use our onboard credit to upgrade to the ultimate experience so we have excellent beverage and wine selections.

Iuse Safari and have never had a problem with the Seabourn site.

There were some limits to regular passengers for laundry in Royal Suites. Guess some RS passengers were having the laundry and dry cleaning done for their friends and family on the ship. If you are Zenith Level they wouldn’t confront you and probably believe as a very frequent customer you would not cheat the system. It’s amazing the lengths some passengers go to when trying to cheat the cruise line.

If this was not a supervised test, it is worthless and they won’t be able to board the ship

We were in an Owners cabins for the Nov 19 crossing. It was quiet for the first part of the sailing then a passenger took ill so the Captain had to sail at full speed for the remainder of the sailing. The vibration and rattles were extreme. Kept putting pieces of cardboard, paper in the rattling areas and other pieces of paper had already been put in places by prior passengers.
Cabin itself is very nice at normal cruising speeds, but bring earplugs if you are not already deaf. My husband has a severe hearing loss but this kept him awake at night.

We ate In The Specialty Restaurants every night on our last 14 day cruise, alternating between the. venues. There were always specials in each restaurant, different meats, fish and pasta even desserts. One was open on White Night so we had an early dinner before joining in the festivities that evening.

Tours have not been included on Oceania unless something changed with COVID.

Actually, I would defer any travel to or from Florida. Their numbers are much worse than any of the European countries. At least those in the EU get the vaccination when it’s available, not like our southern states in the U.S. Won’t be long before we will need a booster to travel and we will get ours as soon as it is open for us.

So you are taking this cruise and are not paying anything? When my husband worked for the airline we would get Non Rev tickets. Usually meant we were the last to get on the plane in whatever seats were left. If the flight was full, carried extra fuel or extra cargo you were left at the airport while your bags flew away.
-
Actually, tipping the porters taking your bags won’t hurt!

Sounds like a Celebrity cruise is a waste of money for Dani. If AI is almost always the case with a booking, maybe Royal or Princess would be more to her liking. Even with only using the non alcoholic beverages, I get my money’s worth. Each bottle of Evian is incredibly expensive as are the coffees, teas and fresh juices.

There definitely is a rapid PCR test and all major airports have this available if you reserve a time. Our insurance will not cover a rapid COVID test because we want to travel or attend a large social gathering as both are strongly discouraged. We paid our fee and thought it was fair as it was our choice to travel.

Didn’t have a problem in a Spa Penthouse or in the Retreat. The Retreat is far forward while the Spa Penthouse was in the rear on the Ovation.

I didn’t take a photo of the hairdryer but it would be okay if you don’t have much hair or are not particular about your hair. Since you are only taking a carry on, it probably won’t be a problem for you as you are definitely not high maintenance. We were on for two week and had two carry ons plus three checked bags. I had my own hairdryer plus many other necessities in addition to clothing.

I don’t understand people stating they have medical reasons to not get vaccinated. The last poster who said people with MS should not be vaccinated. People with MS, Diabetes, Obesity, Cancer, Immune Diseases, HIV/AIDS, Allergies have all been encouraged to get vaccinated. This group has the worst outcomes after catching COVID and should everything possible to avoid getting the disease.

I never noted any deficiencies in the gym on the Seabourn Ovation. The exercise equipment was varied and well maintained. We also never noticed a crowd on our Greek sailings. What additional equipment is available on The Silver Moon?

We always bring our favorite nuts ( cashews and almonds) on our cruises. The last time we were in a RS and out Butler said we could not get mixed or any other nuts in our stateroom because of potential passenger allergies. I know folks have allergies but it shouldn’t control the food that others eat.

Don’t forget you have the share the bandwidth with video streamers and you tubers in the middle of the night. Hope you also don’t have to throw in gamers! How well would a satellite phone work, would you business pay for one? It was just announced that the new IPhone 13 will have satellite connectivity.
