OK, I'll bite - why isn't the mom also D?
We were never married and my daughters Crown and anchor number is under me and I cruise more than her mom does. She can’t wait until she’s diamond plus. It’s a big deal to her it makes her feel special. Next one after this weeks cruise on the Oasis we will finally make it!

If the parents are Diamond, good chance that child is too. ;)
Yes good point my child is diamond and went on a cruise with her mom which is not and she went into the diamond lounge by herself to get snacks. She was quite proud that she told her mom she has to wait outside. Lol

Because they want their free drinks/snacks and have nowhere else to dump them during those hours.
I don’t dump my kids on nobody and we always buy the drink package it has nothing to do with free drinks and snacks it’s a Royal Carribean benefit and we enjoy going there.

Bob is unfortunately correct, and I wonder does he ever sleep? Why would you take a 4 YO to a bar. There is literally nothing there to entertain a 4 year old, and the food, would probably not appeal to them. I am ok with whatever, but why?
JC
We always take our daughter to the diamond lounge. She loves the Hors d’oeuvres and Shirley temples and the great views on some ships.

Bob what also intrigued me was that JS 7666 corner aft was available on the enchantment but my wife hates that ship.

I'm sitting at 160 CA points with a cruise booked for next April 2018 on the Oasis which would give me 167 points 8 short of diamond plus. Do I book a seven night for this September 2017 on one of the Oasis class ships in a regular cabin and fall 1 short of diamond plus status or a 4 night on the enchantment in a JS this September for double points and achieve D+ on my 2018 cruise? My wife says 4 days is too short and likes the bigger ships I say I want to make D +. Please help. Thanks

They were asking people with O neg blood to donate the night before for a blood transfusion. I heard a lady did volunteer.

We were on the freedom first cabin in the corridor we heard no noise from elevators but some from people entering corridor and a few times ringing our doorbell.

My DH and I are sailing on the Freedom in 10 days, and I was wondering if anyone know which restaurant on what day(s) serves the Kummelweck?
I was on the freedom 2 weeks ago and they had it set up outside the bull and bear on Saturday.

I was on the Freedom sept 4th in a GS we are D and we usually went to the CL. On 2 occasions we went to the D lounge and my card wouldn't work and some other people let us in. I didn't think twice about it at the time but I wonder if D's weren't aloud in there or it was just a mistake when they processed my sea pass card? I should of looked into it more.

I don't tip after I've tipped! Why? Why do some worry about it? I have a Thai friend who works as a Bar Waitress on Carnival for 7 years. The daily wage in Thailand is $10.00 a day or $300 month for a first year teacher or banker out of uni. She earns $3000 + per month while working 9 months a
year. One month she earned $5000. She loves her job and gets paid well.
They buy her an airline ticket round trip every contract, a free cabin and free food. She is a RICH person in her village! No need tip extra unless your in love. She is beautiful though!
It's not that we (worry) or are in (love) with our servers it's because we appreciate them for doing a great job and for being away from their families for 9 months. We always tip extra because we are in the business and maybe the few extra bucks we give them they could buy something extra for the kids. $27,000 a year is nothing for the sacrifice they give up for being away from their family. That's one thing they will never get back.

Happens in alot of places. Unless it is a Starbucks licensed location they can do just about anything.
Keep in mind, they do not advertise them self as a Starbucks, just the "We proudly serve" sign. Even behind the counter they don't wear a green apron.
Read: https://solutions.starbucks.com/your-business/hotel-lodging
Added: See this also: http://www.starbucks.com/business
My guess is most ships fall under having the Brewed, Espresso, and Blended platforms.
With Oasis, Allure, and Harmony being the only licensed locations.
Listing of licensed locations: http://www.starbuckseverywhere.net/LicensedStores.htm
Odd thing is Harmony is missing and the listing of "Sunshine"
Wow that's a crazy coincidence that the girl behind the counter was wearing a green apron last week!

I'm seeing it for our spring break cruise...$46.
Total comes to just under $400. I'm thinking of pulling the trigger...does that include gratuities?
Also, if you wait to buy onboard (we have lots of OBC), I'm assuming the cost will be full price- does anyone know what that is?
My experience the last 4 cruises is that if you don't take advantage of the20% off before you cruise you would pay full price onboard. That's one of the first things I do when I board is to check the price to see if it was actually a true 20% off.

Personally I think that the suite lounges should only be for suite guests, no matter of their loyalty status. If RCL goes the way of NCL that may be the case. We were in a Haven suite and their lounge is only for Haven guests. If I spent $$$$ for a suite on RCL I'd be annoyed to be dealing with the Loyalty members
We are only D and We've booked suites the last 4 cruises and actually we really enjoyed the P and D + members that we have met in the CL. We were pleasantly surprised and looked forward to going there every night.

We had a similar experience on the Anthem as well but no braggart. It was such a long night and we were exhausted. We finally left about 2 1/2 hours into it. Never again!

We did chefs table last week on the Freedom and I had red wine spilled all over my white shirt pants and tie from a woman that was cut off and proceeded to grab her husbands wine and knock it all over me. She was then escorted out but the only thing I was offered was a free cleaning no refund or to come back at the next chefs table. Needless to say by the time they got my clothes the next day the wine had set in and they were totally ruined. Sorry I went off but the answer to your question is no it's not included.

Its no a Starbucks. Its café promenade. Often it serves specialty (espresso based) coffee in Starbucks cups - that coffee may or may not be made from Starbucks beans.
That makes absolutely no sense at all. Why would Starbucks let them put coffee in a cup with their name on it with an inferior product that's not up to the Starbucks standards. That's just total BS.

That guy at the quest show with the black bra is an absolute riot. My wife and I met their group at the pool a few times and they were one crazy(West Virginia)bunch.

Since you're sailing in March it's probably too early.
I'm going on the Freedom in April ours just showed up a few weeks ago.

Freedom has a cafe promenade that serves Starbucks coffee. Only the Oasis class ships have a stand alone Starbucks.
The difference now does not really matter as the coffee from the Starbucks on Oasis class ships is now included in the Deluxe package.
Did I say it was stand alone?i said there is a Starbucks in cafe promenade!!

According to the new flyer for the deluxe package, yes, starbucks is included now
But I'm not sure if Freedom has a starbucks, sorry
Yes it has a Starbucks in cafe promenade as stated in the above post.

I prefer deck 3 the bottom deck, but they converted it over to the Dark Side, MY Time dining. Most of the waiter singing and other ceremonies start or are only on deck 3. My last Freedom cruise we were late seating on deck 4 and we had a nice seat along the railing so I could see all around, but when some entertainment happened on deck 3, everybody on our deck ran to the railing to watch. We didn't dare lift a fork or glass during that time as they pushed their way into our table trying to see.
MTD is on deck 5 now.
Winning RoyalUp bids after return to full capacity

I received my royal up bid this past Feb. Went from a junior suite to a grand suite on the Symphony. I personally like junior suites better than a grand suite but i did it for the extra perks. Especially the suite sun deck.
