Thanks for the ride-along, ("cruise-along") over the past few days. Hope you & Lisa have a safe and uneventful flight home.
Can't wait to meet you in March.

If that's the case I say lets do the beach club.
I have to change my way of thinking. When I first made that post, I was basing my numbers on what I just paid for my October cruise which was $177.00 PP. The price for the Bella cruise at this moment is $224.00 and that's with the so-called 10% pre-cruise saving. If (and that's a big IF) I'm going to spend that kind of money for the Beach Club, then I'll throw out the extra $13.50 for the cabana. JMHO

As far as the cabanas, isn't there a limit to how many can rent one?
14 hours ago, jmh2006 said:I do have the Beach Club booked for Bella cruise, but would also be interested in going in on the Cabana. Maybe even the cabanas on the beach. 🤷♀️
According to the overview info, the cabana limit is 8 people. At the normal price ($1899.00), that would be $237.50 PP. That's a little to rich for my blood.
At this point, I'd rather book the Beach Club. If they ever put the cabanas on sale to the area of the Beach Club price, then it would be something that I would consider.

Excellent review. We leave in 4 weeks for the same cruise on the Symphony except our itinerary is in the opposite order. We don't have the Dining Package, but will try to go to some of the venues you were at. We are also booked at the Beach Club on CocoCay. It will be our 2nd time there. I do like your idea of possibly getting a group together for one of the "over the water cabanas" on the Bella Cruise. With enough people, I think it would be worth the price.

Greg, My "HAHA" in post #7 was for the Ferraris Uber, not for the earlier misfortunes with the taxi and 1st Uber.

Pauline and her work colleagues are currently at the church funeral service of one of their colleagues who died aged 56.
Sorry to hear of this loss. There is never a "good " time to pass, but 56 is definitely way to young. May her colleague Rest In Peace.

Busy day today with emotions. This morning we said goodbye to the mother of one of my life long friends Ron. This afternoon we will attend the wedding of one of my coworkers for 40 years son who I’ve seen grow up.
Greg,
Sorry for the loss of your friends mother.
Congratulations to your coworkers son.
Definitely a day of mixed emotions.

And for now a quick heads up to anyone staying at the Embassy. We will be at the manager’s reception for the free drinks later. And when you see a classy lady that looks like Princess Kate. I’ll be the one sitting next to her.

If the winner is smart, we'll never know their name.
Illinois is 1 of the many states that allow you to remain anonymous, whereas, in CT (for some ridiculous reason) your name has to be revealed.
22 hours ago, bobmacliberty said:I've read similar stories about winners being inundated with all sorts of unwanted requests, sob stories, media attention, phone calls, etc.
I recall a story about a woman who had won the lottery and her nephew called her with a sob story about how he was down on his luck and needed money for his college tuition, car repairs, rent and yadda, yadda, yadda. She let him go on for about 15 - 20 minutes until she finally told him, "Seeing as that I am an only child with no brothers or sisters, I sure as hell don't have a nephew. Goodbye.

Greg, my thoughts exactly. More like the gangways literally fell off the edge of the pier as the ship moved away.

We had a visitor yesterday.
I took this pick and loved it.
I told Kenzie it's so good I will have to share it on Dani's thread. She looked at Shashey and said, he's kidding right?
She said nope then she gave me the look.
Then she said, post it and I will hide your flip flop.
I said, that, that's not mine. Kenzie, several love seeing you. They will love the pic.
She said, OK Gpa but it will cost ya a peanut butter cracker..
She is so adorable. And quite the negotiator. 😂

We went to Newport for the day. I had a delicious mojito with my lunch on Bowen’s Wharf.
This sign made me think of @Sea Dog

As OB stated, it is still there. The Mussels were absolutely "to die for". On one of our anniversaries, we woke up and decided to take the 2 1/2 hour drive there just for them. We also brought home the Clam Chowder. It was really good also.
