CCL must train CD's in these situations to merely announce: " we no longer need to stop in Cozumel so we will proceed to..." unless the deceased died of a highly infectious disease, think Ebola, and the passengers need to be informed of that it's not necessary to announce the death of a passenger from natural causes.

I posted this on FB but thought I would ask here as well. I am on the Magic which returns to Port Canaveral on May 21. I want to book another cruise out of Miami that leaves on May 21 as well. I found a shuttle that goes between Port Canaveral and Miami (link below). Has anyone ever done this before or traveled between these two ports for a same day cruise? What transportation did you use? Thanks in advance for any info!

Carnival doesn't own Florida Shuttle Transportation. Look around here on the Florida Departures Board for lots of good information.

Good morning, Stu (golfadj) When steering someone to another board it's helpful to include the link :)

The reports are coming in that the cabins are not as clean as they used to be before the Comfort Menu and added work load for the stewards were rolled out. Before long we may need to bring our own can of "Sweet Dutch Cleanser" and do the scrubbing ourselves. ;)

We will be cruising out of NO in a few months and plan to use them.

Hi Stu- (golfadj) who do you plan to use? I miss your photo from your golfadj member account with most of Sheila cut out of the picture :)

How many people have bosses who keep expecting more out of you Will customers expect less service?

Does everyone remove tips for half service by stewarts?

I overheard stewards saying this was happening to them on the Dream. Can't speak for us because we have not requested half service.

Steward introduced himself (Jono, Cove balcony 2248) and asked me if I wanted 'morning or evening'. I said I'd like both. He replied "Miss, you may not know, I used to have 26 cabins to take care of and now I have 35. I cannot do everyone." As I commiserated with him about the amount of work, he said this would probably be his last contract with Carnival...

If it weren't his last contract it certainly is now!

Loved seeing what cruising was like 75 years ago.

But as you know Stu (golfadj) the Queen Mary wasn't a cruise ship.

Stopped doing that a few years ago. Was nice to have over a cup of coffee while DW was sleeping.
