  1. Sea Days lunch time, Cover charge applies: Crab Shack is at Crown Grill Oyser and Sushi Bar at Catch
  2. Mystery Island: It seemed debatable if we would anchor, as conditions were...poop. We did anchor ⚓️ and enjoyed a bouncy ride over where I think I lost weight from the shaking. We had booked the see through kayak and snorkel. After a 1/2 mile march we came to our site. The wind were slightly less than hurricane force, so Tom and I decided that it was a lovely day to lay out on the beach. Another passenger confirmed our decision on her return from kayaking, said it was miserable. We also enjoyed a bit of a frolic in the water (a swim, get your mind out of the gutter, you cheeky buggers 😀).
  3. It was great, and the charge was 100 AUD, so about $60 USD. It was lovely with the winds, and presented by Junior, the sommelier.
  4. Today was another sea day, even though I had a shore excursion planned, thinking it was Mystery Island day. Guess my clear kayak and snorkel will have to wait until tomorrow. Bingo contributed to my cruise fund, got LOTS of steps in, and the waves are chipping in to keep people's weight down, but not in a nice way. Soooo glad that sea sickness, or Mal de Mer is not an affliction of mine. We had the Winemakers Dinner tonight, very tasty!
  5. Haven't been to the exercise center due to allergies 🤧 😀 I believe that Darko will have gone on break by March. First night specialty dinner is only for first night, use it or lose it basis. Have a great cruise. This is a wonderful ship with delightful crew!
  6. Oh the typos ...I thought that we were going to Mystery Island today, but that's tomorrow, is how the sentence about "Matey Island " should have read.
  7. So, for your entertainment, a tidbit: is a good thing that I didn't get of of the ship today for our store excursion as I had planned to all day yesterday. I thought we were going to Matey Island fish, but that's tomorrow... today is a sea day. I would have had an impromptu swim 🏊‍♀️ 😕
  8. Y lesterday the weather was a bit "tossy" and today promises even more. For entertainment yesterday we enjoyed our sweet site brekkie in Harmony, I let the casino give me some $$$ to help supplement our cruising addiction and then I gave them a bit back at Bingo. Tom and I decided to check out the art auction. Last cruise we picked up a piece that holds great personal connection. Nothing struck our fancy enough to purchase yet, but the cruise is going and there are some nice pieces that are coming up. Then it was on to the suite reception where Darko had four Bellinis that he wanted us to smoke and vote on, along with some delicious noshes. Then it was on to dinner in Reserve with our new friends, where everyone was turned out splendidly, the most casual being a sport coat and nice slacks, but let's NOT go there, this is just an observation of last night's Reserve Class dining.
  9. So sad...I go to the casino and Bingo, win at both and come back to this heartbreaking 💔 sight. Not sure how to come back from this one... oh wait ✋️ I have it! Ocean Now or the Concierge Lounge! Everyone put down the phones, let 9-1-1 and the Prime Minister know we have averted an International incident!
  10. Updates to Director of Restaurant Operations and Entertainment Director
  11. Dinner at The Catch was lovely! We did have a great time getting our steps in. During the day, pre-sailaway, the Melbourne Cup aired at 3pm. I wanted to change first and had half hour to spare. I told Tom I'd meet him at Vista Lounge. When I got there at 2:55 I was advised they'd moved it to MUTS. OH NO 😢 This started an hour long game of me playing find my shipmate, whilst he was doing the same, literally trying to chase moving target targets.
  12. Apparently the little Dickens was caught leaving the scene of a bank heist and he... Oh wait, no, wrong story! That was the, I think, triple threat, or triple S, on the menu. They base a lot on presentation at Catch. The sole is debunked tableside, etc.
  13. And then waiting.. and waiting for the casino to open, until 9pm. People were staking out their machines; not gonna lie, when I saw that, I finally sat in front of one too 😀
