  1. I took it directly from the current Shareholder Benefit: The benefit is applicable on sailings through July 31, 2024 aboard the brands listed below. Certain restrictions apply. Applications to receive these benefits should be made at least three weeks prior to cruise departure date. This benefit is available to shareholders holding a minimum of 100 shares of Carnival Corporation or Carnival plc. Employees, travel agents cruising at travel agent rates, interline rates, tour conductors or anyone cruising on a reduced-rate or complimentary basis are excluded from this offer. This benefit is not transferable, cannot be exchanged for cash and, cannot be used for casino credits/charges and gratuities charged to your onboard account. Only one onboard credit per shareholder-occupied stateroom. Reservations must be made by February 28, 2024. Please provide by email1 , fax or by mail your complete legal name, reservation/booking number, ship and sailing date, along with proof of ownership of Carnival Corporation or Carnival plc shares (for example, photocopy of shareholder proxy card, a dividend tax voucher or a current brokerage or nominee statement with your current mailing address and your brokerage account number blacked out) no later than 4 weeks prior to your sail date to your travel agent or to the cruise line you have selected below. 1 If you chose to email, you do so at your own risk and with the knowledge that email is inherently an insecure method of communication. https://www.carnivalcorp.com/static-files/50351a91-4dc0-4f6b-bfec-684647e6129f
  2. It is supposed to be done no later than 4 weeks prior to your sail date; guest services' hands may be tied on a cruise that has already begun.
  3. I believe that would be due to having to not applied prior to the cruise,..?
  4. We'll be thinking about y'all and following you! We leave in a week for our switched-out trip! We'll be trading "Live-froms" 🥂🥂🥂
  5. The final answer is that it has varied ship to ship.
  6. Our first cruise was with my parents LONG ago. It was pre-package and counting the pennies. Fast forward to now...I'm retired from my 9-5 with the county and own my travel agency. we enjoy the package; it works for Princess and for us; we enjoy the upper end room; it works for Princess and for us (we like the perks, they like the revenue). To each their own. Isn't it wonderful? There's a way to cruise for everyone! 💞
  7. I think that we meet it by lunch. Let's see...two mimosas or Bailey's and Coffee, and two waters, then a Bloody Mary at Bingo with another water then...oh...oh no! This was for SEVEN DAYS! Oh no! I'm out! 😂 (Before y'all send me to a meeting, this was all in fun, folks...or was it 😄 )
  8. https://dailycommercials.com/air-new-zealand-in-dog-tion/ Another reason to love Air New Zealand
  9. I can confirm at this time that I will be checking in to that most thoroughly for those who would like to know...for investigative purposes only of course. 😄🥂
  10. And the Sun is catering the Sanctuary to Suite guests with the Suite Sun deck 🙂
  11. Will do! We're currently booked Premium Economy and bid for upgrade to Premium Business, so will report back on either/both! 🙂
  12. We'll be on in (checking calendar) 14 days 🙂, but who's counting?? Oh wait, I am! I'll be doing a semi-live starting when we leave on Air New Zealand on November 2 for our pre-cruise stay.
  13. I'm looking forward to those Majestic coffees in 14 days! 🙂
  14. TA's do still have some perks: discounts on cruises, onboard credit, price matching, taking care of those unpleasant issues that can pop up, etc.
  15. What I have explained once, and will again, is that I am a TA, and some TA's can, in fact, make it so that their clients, CAN NOT bid, even in the system. The email comes from a third party, not Princess. And the TA can, through Princess and/or the third party, have their client unable to bid through the system.
  16. And it's actually the third party hosting the bids, not Princess. 🙂
  17. You are incorrect, I am a TA. SCX22 is correct. If you are booked through a TA who does not participate and you try to bid, you will get this response: This reservation is not eligible for Princess Upgrade
  18. Are you using a TA? Some of them, esp Big Box, do not participate...
  19. In their defense, it does say that space is limited, so secure your spot soon...
  20. You still have to wait until you are onboard.
  21. That may have gained you some "unwanted" attention, of a very up close sort.
