You don't have to do the paid membership, and AARP sells all sorts of gift cards at a discount. I don't think that they have a nefarious plan. They actually try to help seniors. I believe that they get the cards at a discount and sell them at that price, not positive.
We're looking forward to trying it. We enjoy the food on Princess, and also enjoy the specialty restaurants as a way to try something different and elevate the experience a bit. After all, we saved for the cruise; we're not going to save while we're ON the cruise💕yolo💕
It became a favorite hangout of ours on our California Coastal / Mexican Riviera last year. Can't wait to see it again! It is free to all and a great spot!💕
The two that you mention may not meet your definition of travel agent, but the second one gives us 8% of our cruise fare as credit in a store card and 2% credit of our cruise fare at the end of the year...so far it's been a new refrigerator, washer and dryer set, and two flat screen tv's.❤
We really like our non-TA / TA 😁🍻
The Sun will have a two-deck Suite Concierge Lounge Aft with beautiful windows according to the plans 🥰. We'll meet y'all and @wendellman there for evening cocktails!
I am in a suite, but I reserved a total of six Specialty Dining nights over the course of two cruises, with the Premier Package. After that I tried to reserve another and it DID charge me.
It isn't that the system isn't programmed to comp the two specialty restaurant nights on Premier; it's just blotchy on when it does or doesn't apply them, because it let me book our two nights on each of two different bookings with no problems and didn't try to charge me for any of them...😏
