Thank you for the info. Guess I will need to make my way there a couple times. I may have to try the vanilla sky drink. 

I’m sailing on Discovery in March and I’m looking at previous patters. What is the “Good Spirits at Sea - Cocktail Experience”? I see it listed a couple of times a day. Do they do something special? TIA

Lunch  in Skagway was fast, and  the beef was  tender and flavorful.  Doors for lunch opended aat noon, we were done by 12:30 - back  to room  to watch the safety video.

 

nothing on board to indicate that Mazalan to not going to be a stop.  

 

using  a wireless keyboard  with my ipad and it is difficult

 

tv shows seem to  be the same as the  last 7 cruises we have been on in the past year. few new movies but not many

Roxie even if you could save the patters and then scan and post after you get home would be great. I’ve heard Wi-Fi is not great on Discovery and it may not be possible to post pics while you’re on the ship. Appreciate anything you can post for us 🙂 

I would love to see these too. Hopefully someone embarking today sees this post. 

I’ve been following along and it’s so sad to see the ship pulling back into port and your trip ending. Hope you all had a great time—my husband and I board her at the end of March.

Anytime @Desertliving--I am like you where I am researching everything I can about the Princess Discovery (I take my first cruise on her in March 2023) and thought I would share what I've found.  I'm really excited as she will be the newest (and largest) ship I've been on.

Thanks @sirclean for confirming the menus do indeed look the same as you had.

Also thought you might find this link https://eatsleepcruise.com/discovery-princess-restaurant-guide-with-menus/ helpful.  It has all the menus in the MDR for a 7 day cruise (my understanding is the menus don't change) and all the other restaurants onboard.

@Desertliving I'm attempting to attach a pdf of the Princess Patters from the April 3rd sailing.  Hopefully it works and you find it useful.

Are the pools heated?  I'm used to cruising in the Caribbean where it's much warmer than this cruise will be for me in March.

Does this mean there is no smoking around the main pool (Sky Pool)?  Every other cruise I have been on has had smoking on one side of the main pool.  I really like the idea of having the smoking at the aft of the ship.

If anyone has copies of the patters for the Discovery Princess California Coastal itineraries, I would love if you could post a copy. I'm trying to convince another couple to go with us on this cruise, and I think if I can show them a copy, it could help to sway them.

With Celebrity, you can see the daily programs for all sailings within their app even if it's not your sailing or ship.  If anyone knows of a way to do this with Princess, I would love to know how.  TIA for any insight and help 🙂

Dang....that's what I was afraid of.  We have an aft cabin on the same deck in March--it was going to be my first aft cabin and I was really looking forward to it.  Guess I'll be calling and changing cabins.

Do you happen to know where the other smoking areas are?  I want to make sure I pick a new balcony cabin on a side that doesn't having smoking below it.
