We received the OBC offer after our last 2 cruises but didn't do anything about it because we already had more cruises booked. Maybe I should call and ask if we can use it after all?
-
I can't imagine sailing in any cabin but Aqua. We love Blu (eat there every dinner, and some breakfasts. Also use the wonderful Persian Gardens every day. Didn't like the afternoon snacks though. They were always seafood which we don't like at all.

I am also enjoying this and looking forward to more.

My passport expired years ago so I've been using my birth certificate instead. Since we are cruising to South America in January 2019, I decided to get a new one. My library ordered it for me saying it would arrive in 4-6 weeks. I was amazed to get it less than 3 weeks later. They still haven't returned my birth certificate yet though. Is that normal?

My favorite used to be pina coladas (our traditional sail-away drink), but the last cruise I couldn't stop with the grasshoppers. Yummm!!! Also loved the kalua and cream.

Since we get the free beverage package as a perk we are able to get all the bottled water we want.

We haven't sailed on Royal C. but have had many, many cruises on NCL through the years. I think it has really gone downhill and we swore the last cruise (on the Gem) would be our last one. The food was terrible (IMO) and the constant
noise and crowds were terrible. We were so glad to discover Celebrity and it is now our only cruise line. Can't imagine sailing in any class but Aqua and dining in the wonderful Blue!

This thread is becoming hilarious!

We have sailed over 20 times in the Caribbean in all months of the year, mostly during hurricane season, and have never had a port cancelled. What is worrying me is flying from Cleveland to Fort Lauderdale in January for our South America cruise in 2019.

Really enjoying your review. Thanks! My daughter and I were on the Equinox last month and had all but one of our breakfasts and all our lunches at Aqua Spa Cafe. Really love the good food there and the selections.

I am so sad to see the 14 day sailing disappear on Celebrity. Our Eclipse sailing last year was one of my most favorites! Shorter sailings are just not worth all the trouble involved in getting to the port IMO.

This is so interesting! We took this cruise on the Eclipse last year. This year we were on the Equinox in May and will go again in October. Can't wait!
-
You sound like us. We also have 4 more cruises booked in Aqua class. Last month on Equinox we ate in Blu every night. Half our dinner came from Blu and our wonderful waiter got us the other half from the MDR.

Do you know what kind of special lunches?
-
We always sail in Aqua class and have a delicious embarkation lunch in the Aqua Spa Cafe. Love it!
-
Does anyone know exactly what is done during dry dock? Just curious. Thanks!

After enjoying Eclipse and Equinox, we will be on Reflection next March for the first time. So enjoying your review and especially the wonderful pics!

As to those towel animals: we had them with NCL and hated all the extra room that they took up.

Loved your wonderful review! My daughter and I were on the same cruise and your beautiful pics and prose are just so nostalgic for me. Luckily, we have another Equinox cruise in October this year, but the waiting for it is so painful. :)
The only thing that really disappointed me this cruise was that Blu no longer had the vegetarian menu available. Luckily, our wonderful waiter Joe was able to bring us many items from the MDR to supplement the few things we liked on the Blu menu. We really do love Blu itself and had all our dinners there.
One thing I have to mention: we went to Kermit's in Key West and had the most delicious Key Lime pie I have ever had. Went back for a second slice. And they have a beautiful courtyard to eat it in with a bamboo waterfall cascading into a pool with beautiful fish swimming lazily around. Wonderful atmosphere!

Just got off Equinox sailing in Aqua Spa cabin. I was so disappointed that Blu no longer had their vegetarian menu as there was such a great selection on it - different every night. But Joe, our wonderful waiter, got us quite a few items from the main dining room. And I actually decided to try some meat for the first time in ages. It was filet mignon (served on two separate nights) and I thought I'd died and had gone to heaven. It was that delicious!! We had every dinner at Blu and breakfast and lunch at the great Aqua Spa cafe.

And also, do we dock or tender?
-
I''m also interested as we will be on the Equinox sailing also. Was it just inside the ship (AC) that it was cold?
-
We are planning to use Choice Air for our next 3 cruises. I hope Jet Blue is on their list of airlines they use.

This all sounds pretty terrible!
Vegetarian Options?
in Celebrity Cruises

We always ate at Blu on our May Equinox cruise this year and were told by our waiter that the vegetarian menu was no longer available. I have no idea why and was very disappointed as my choices were way more limited than the year before.
