The cruise is for 2019. We don't really care that much for beaches - just some warmth. :) I know the scenery will be beautiful. Just hope I didn't make a mistake because of Chili's weather.

I lived in Florida for 26 years and my daughter and I are both freeze babies. Do you think we will we be able to swim in the ship's pools in March? Most all of our cruises have been in the nice warm Caribbean.
-
We are booked for the March southern South America cruise and are getting worried about the weather there. We like it hot, but I'm now afraid we may be going at the wrong time. Can anyone tell me which month of the year is the warmest in southern Chili? Would February be warmer than March? Thanks so much if you can answer this question.

I can hardly wait!!! Thanks everyone for letting me know it is still there. :)

shadow9612 - I clicked on the website and was told it wasn't found. That is what is worrying me. I also wish I had bought more last year and was really planning to remedy that this year!

Has anyone visited this lovely shop recently? We were there last year and fell in love with it, and are so looking forward to
going back this May. Just hoping it's still there.

So far I am unimpressed. Very happy with aqua spa class on the S. class ships. Doesn't need improving IMHO.
-
I can't imagine giving up Aqua spa cabins for a suite. Or Blue! Will there be Aqua spa on the new Edge? I haven't heard it mentioned.

This thread is making it even harder to wait for our Equinox cruise this May! We were on your itinerary on the Eclipse last year and absolutely loved that ship! Am so much enjoying your writing. And the pics!!!
-
What a great thread! We loved Millie when she first came out, but never got to cruise on her. Now we love the S class - any of them as long as we have an Aqua Spa cabin.
-
We love Blu and eat all our meals possible there. Just still sorry we missed one dinner because of a late excursion. Still
wondering what we missed. :)

What a wonderful thread! Reading it has brought back so many great reminders of favorite cruising moments. There are way too many to mention on Celebrity, but any time I'm in Cafe el Bachio has to be one of them. I have so many happy memories of cruising on the famous SS:Norway. On our very first cruise on her, our first sight of those famous and beautiful funnels almost made me faint with joy. I remember one cruise on her where I stayed up walking all over the ship until 3:30 am and got to watch an elegant full moon set over Miami. Breathtaking! Once in Barcelona, we had arrived before the ship was ready and had a 1 hour bus ride around the city. At one point we got off the bus and walked up a very big hill. Down below us we saw the Norway in all her splendor and knew we would soon be on her. We had a transatlantic on the southern route after that and I slept on a lounge chair on the balcony every night. Slept like a baby.
As for the worst cruising memory: Our very first cruise we had no idea how to pick a cabin. Turned out we had one under what seemed to be an all-night bowling alley. I didn't get to sleep until 4:30 am. Later we looked on the deck plan and found out we were directly under the ship's bakery. Seems like they were baking and rolling around heavy tables all night. We have since learned to pay attention to deck plans before picking a cabin!

We were so disappointed last year when our Eclipse cruise cancelled the Bonaire stop after we had already booked the cruise. We are trying again this April and are hoping to finally get to Bonaire!
-
We love Aqua Spa cabins and always choose them. On our last 14 day cruise we only missed one dinner in Blu, because of a late excursion. We have always wondered what delicious meal we missed there. :-(
-
Really enjoying this thread. Will be having our 1st Equinox cruise in May and so looking forward to it.
-
We always ask for the vegetarian menu in Blu. By combining selections on that menu and the regular menu, we have had some very delicious meals in Blu. We can't imagine dining anywhere else.
-
We visited Tortulo in 2015 and want to go back. But I can't find any itineraries now that stop there. Can anyone help us? Thanks!
-
I'm so glad to read this thread as we will be on the Equinox for the first time in May. Loved the Eclipse last April! I wonder if the 2 ships are similar.
-
No Banjo, not us. We're sailing in May next year. So glad you like "our" cabin. :)
-
Our favorite Aqua Spa cabin is 1502 - in the very front of the ship. We haven't been bothered by any nice at all. Can't imagine cruising without Aqua Spa and Blu!
-
If ONLY it would come back! We loved it!! Sushi? Yuck!!!!!!!

One thing I know is not right - On our second cruise with this TA, there was "no" OBC from her. I mentioned it after getting back and she said she would make it
up on our next cruise. Guess what - it was still the miserly $50. No more. Even when we cruise in an Aqua Spa cabin - our favorite. We had already booked our next cruise with her, so isn't it true that we have to get air fare, etc. from her too?
-
I appreciate all of your answers. I'd also like to mention that our present TA gives us OBC of $50, even for 2-week cruises. From what I've been reading, that seems low. Am I right in thinking that?

I just changed our booking to the one that is Jan. 6 to Jan. 20. My fingers are crossed. After all, it is their "summer", right? :-)
