  1. I lived in Florida for 26 years and my daughter and I are both freeze babies. Do you think we will we be able to swim in the ship's pools in March? Most all of our cruises have been in the nice warm Caribbean.

  2. We are booked for the March southern South America cruise and are getting worried about the weather there. We like it hot, but I'm now afraid we may be going at the wrong time. Can anyone tell me which month of the year is the warmest in southern Chili? Would February be warmer than March? Thanks so much if you can answer this question.

  3. What a wonderful thread! Reading it has brought back so many great reminders of favorite cruising moments. There are way too many to mention on Celebrity, but any time I'm in Cafe el Bachio has to be one of them. I have so many happy memories of cruising on the famous SS:Norway. On our very first cruise on her, our first sight of those famous and beautiful funnels almost made me faint with joy. I remember one cruise on her where I stayed up walking all over the ship until 3:30 am and got to watch an elegant full moon set over Miami. Breathtaking! Once in Barcelona, we had arrived before the ship was ready and had a 1 hour bus ride around the city. At one point we got off the bus and walked up a very big hill. Down below us we saw the Norway in all her splendor and knew we would soon be on her. We had a transatlantic on the southern route after that and I slept on a lounge chair on the balcony every night. Slept like a baby.

As for the worst cruising memory: Our very first cruise we had no idea how to pick a cabin. Turned out we had one under what seemed to be an all-night bowling alley. I didn't get to sleep until 4:30 am. Later we looked on the deck plan and found out we were directly under the ship's bakery. Seems like they were baking and rolling around heavy tables all night. We have since learned to pay attention to deck plans before picking a cabin!

  4. We were so disappointed last year when our Eclipse cruise cancelled the Bonaire stop after we had already booked the cruise. We are trying again this April and are hoping to finally get to Bonaire!

  5. One thing I know is not right - On our second cruise with this TA, there was "no" OBC from her. I mentioned it after getting back and she said she would make it

up on our next cruise. Guess what - it was still the miserly $50. No more. Even when we cruise in an Aqua Spa cabin - our favorite. We had already booked our next cruise with her, so isn't it true that we have to get air fare, etc. from her too?
