DGD in law is doing much better. She is home and the doctor has given her some meds. She said my Laila Marie is very active all the time. Thanks for the well wishes on that.

Heidi, I think that train story for Eric will be told a long time. Yes I lol.

Dave, please tell Bettie I am so sorry for her loss and will say a prayer for you all.

Sue, it tickles me when you talk about going to town for groceries when I am 2 miles away from all of them.

Off today and going to Hallmark as they are having a big sale today.

I am pooped today, yesterday was a day of waiting and pacing. My DGS had to take Mary to the hospital as she was having contractions. She is only 7 1/2 months along. Finally found out that she was dehydrated and got sick from the other little guy she has. They were keeping her on an IV overnight so hopefully she will be better today. Then my DS was on vacation and I talked to him everyday except for Sat so while I was pacing I thought of him and why he did not call. He never misses a day calling me unless he is on a cruise. So I called my Dad and asked him if he talked with him and he said not since Friday. His phone went right to voicemail. Finally hear from him last night. So everyone is a ok. Whew! My dad said stop being such a mom. I said that is my job.lol

I found out when I was working on Sat that our distribution manager's son died in a motorcycle accident. So I was tearing up and trying to talk on the phone. That went over well.

Sue, thanks for the update on the ranch, you know I love to hear about everything. I hope you don't have a wolf. Kenny and I use to collect stuff with a wolf on it and then downsized when we moved to Florida and got rid of the wolf stuff. I think they are a beautiful animal but I know they can be destructive.

Dave, wave to Virgina Beach my home when you hit Virginia. What part did you go to?

Heidi, I got my flu shot when Kenny was sick so when he finishes the antibiotics he needs to go and get one. My insurance pays for them as well.

I got up this morning and went on the Lanai to read the paper and have coffee. Burr must of been in the 60's with a slight breeze. I know I am such a dork. I guess I lost all my blood when I moved to Florida so now I get chilled.lol

Heidi, I hope the kitty gets well so she will be all excited to see Eric.

Sue, I probably asked this but how many head of cattle do you have? Oh and how many horses? Sounds like your project is coming along fine.

Rick, I know you must be all excited everytime you get to deliver those backpacks. Great job!

Kenny is feeling fine now and back to my chief cook and bottle washer. Wow I forgot how much hard work that is and working also. I am so spoiled.lol

I finally got an offer on our condo in Virginia. OMG to think of not paying for that is like another job. I hope it goes thru without a hitch.

Thanks for the well wishes, Kenny is feeling much better. I now have my chief cook and bottle washer back. Whew I forgot what it was like to do everything. It has been awhile for that.lol I am so very spoiled.:)

Heidi, hope the neighbor is doing fine. Glad that Eric is coming home and people are so inconsiderate about being on time.

Sue, YEA!!! another project at your ranch. I can't wait to hear all about every board that is put up.

We went and caught up at the American Legion yesterday which was fun. I am off today and just kind of doing nothing. I do have to start my walking and excercise program again. I could not believe when I got home I had lost 1 lb. I guess that is from all the walking we did. Not to forget the tons of food and drinks that we had. I think we tried all the frozen concoctions that they made and I even inventented a couple.lol

Sorry I have not been on but Kenny got some type of flu the day we got off the ship and it has hit him hard. Since he has Asbestosis we have to watch the ole lungs carefully. He is on a antibiotic and still is not doing that great. We need to call the doctor on Friday if he does not see a dramatic improvement.

He has taken care of everything since I went back to work so I have done nothing but clean and taken care of my guy since we got home.

I will check on what everyone has said since I have been gone but not until my guy gets better.

Rick, feel better soon. I just finished my antibiotics with the sinus infection. It took me 2 times the normal. Be happy I will be home before you know.

Today is the last full day of work and then vacation. I only have 4 hours tomorrow.

Sue, I am beside myself and so very excited. Yes it has been a busy week for sure. Did they get that fire put out?

Heidi, glad the mole was ok. I have had all kinds of things frozen off. Kenny had a Stage 2 Melanoma and he was a mess. They did surgery and it got infected.:eek: We both go every 6 months. So glad to hear the fire turned out to be not much. Scarey for sure.

That was so sad about the young girl that jumped off the ship.

Spent yesterday getting the rest of our stuff that we needed together and making sure I had everything on my list. Saturday is the day we leave. YEA!!!!!

Heidi, glad family weekend went great. I hope your kitty is ok. My Yorkie had to have bladder surgery and knee surgery each to the tune of $1500 and $1100. The next animal I have will have insurance for sure. :eek:

Dave, we get rain every other day I think and right now still in the 80's.

Kathy, enjoy your week off. I work 1/2 day today, Thursday,all day on Friday, 1/2 day on Saturday an that it is until we get back. YEA!!!

Rick, nice job you have, I could do that for sure.

Mimi, I am still the check out the books at the library that is about 5 block behind me and they are very short blocks. I still have my old and I mean old Razor phone.

Rick that was wonderful with the food you got. We had a food drive that was sponsored by our local Bealls Store for college day and we raised over 8,000 pounds. I think it is spit amount 3 or 4 pantrys. I wish I loved closer to you as I would love to help you out.

What a ding bat I am. I bought the Faster to the Fun program on the Imagination. They said it would be on my Boarding Pass and luggange tags. Well Luggage tags say F2F on them but I could not see anything on the boarding pass. Well when I called Carnival they said that they would have a list at the dedicated line and that only 20 cabins have it so I am fine. Well I looked at my boarding pass again and up in the corner in Red where it normall says Kiosk Ready mine sayd Fast to the Fun. Geez! You would have thought that Carnival would have know that for ding bats like me.lol

Final day off until I work 39 1/2 hours the rest of the week.:eek: That's ok the 22th is coming really quick and time for vacation and cruise. At work another one of the girls is going to Ireland the same time I leave so no problem and then another one is just starting, however, the woman that is training her now is leaving the same time we are on vacation. I said I will have a drink for them.lol

Sue, I bow down to the Ducks I am so :o. I consider myself a pretty good judge of all College games. I was watching Michigan last night and they had an update on the Duck game. I stood up and yelled GO DUCKS just for my friend Sue. Kenny says since when do you like the Ducks and who is Sue? I said our Breeze buddie and he goes oh ok now I know. Is she a Duck fan? I said no she likes the chickens. He goes oh ok. Shows how much he listens.:eek:

Rick, I just love Politics and will debate with the best of them. Some of my friends are Obama fans and i love to go at them. They are just not as good as me at it.lol I will admit I left the Rep. Party that year and voted for Yes I Can guy. Not that I mention that much.lol

Rainy in Lady Lake today and tomorrow. Of course both are my days off.:(

I have never heard of the Ducks until you all started talking about them. I presume they are Oregon Ducks? Sorry I am a Michigan, Ga Tech, Michigan State type girl. I can't stand our Florida Teams and even though I lived in Virginia so many years UVA and Tech are not one of my teams either.

Rick, on to Politics just for a minute. A woman called me today to cancel her paper because a picture of Obama was on the bottom of the page and they rest of the page was filled with remembering 9/11. I had to bite my tongue as she said and it is not even 9/11 and we have to see this CRAP so early. I knew I was moving to a conservative state but this is just too much. I very nicely said I have stopped your paper for tomorrow and your refund will be put back on the CC. Have a great day and hung up. Then I quietly said what a itch with a CAPITAL B.

OK I am finished with that so Dave I hope Six Flags is lots of fun. I remember the Busch Gardens every weekend day.:eek:

I just read that my poor Michigan lost their cornerback for the rest of the season. OK now they are history. I guess I will have to go over to Michigan State. They won their first. Yes I am fickle!!

Been shopping online all morning. Kenny said he guesses I have my shopping gene in.:D

We are going to get the all inclusive drinks for our Imagination cruise on 9/24. I just called and we have to do that at guest services once we get on. We also have the Fast to Fun deal so we have a special line for that. Yea!!!!

Not doing much today, just still in my jammies. We are having burgers and mac salad for dinner and maybe a pizza for lunch. Go Diabetes!!:eek:

Rick, I watched Michigan my favorite team go down to Alabama. I asked DH who is that quarterback and he said the same one as last year. I said WHAT, OMG HE BEST GET HIS CHIT TOGETHER. I fell asleep before it was over and then did not sleep. ND I love as well. The next favorite is Ga Tech. I can't stand any of the Florida teams.lol

Sue, I love the cow story. My ex boss use to have everything cows so when I went on a cruise and hit a port I always looked for something I thought she did not have and most of the time I found something. She use to get so excited.

Rick, I did not hear that story about the Delegates from Florida. I have to go and chew out our report that was there and did not write about it.lol

Kathy, I don't think our will close down. The old people love it especially with all the coupons that they send out.

Heidi, that was a funny story about the little boat. I am affraid that Kenny would not get it in as he swims like a rock. In other words can't swim.lol

All you fine folks going to your fairs, I can't wait for ours to start. I am ready for all that food. Speaking of food I was very bad yesterday. I took my Diabetic meds and then went to Steak and Shake. I had a Jalepeno Crunch Burger and a Vanilla Shake. OMG it was so good. Then I walked around the grocery stores trying to get rid of it. When I got home I took my sugar and it was 169. Not bad for that fast food and sugary shake. YUMMMMY!!!!

Getting ready for work and I would be excited as normally this would be my last day until Tuesday, however, I have to work tomorrow.:( Then I am off Monday and Tuesday so I guess I got an extra 4 hours off due to the holiday. If I worked on Tuesday it would have put me overtime and they would have not been happy.:eek:

Any special plans this weekend? I have to get my nails done after work and then it is grocery shopping for the month. Thank God we already got the menu done and we have 10 days we will be gone for the cruise and just playing around. Yea!!!!
