Nope not valid for TA!

I just checked our TA in November & it's not showing anything. Anyone else seeing anything? I'm not upgrading to premium unless we get a great sale!

The drapes had holes all over them so when the sun came through in the am, the light went right in my eyes as the bed was next to the balcony. We were on a cruise to Bermuda July 7 but did not get covid. Understood COVID levels have increased greatly recently. We are going on a TA in November so hope we don't get it. Will get the new vaccine before we go

I found it - spelled it wrong. It looks like a beautiful city with low amount of tourists which we prefer. Also like that most sites are in walking distance to central downtown.

How far in advance can I buy tickets to Sagrada?

This sounds great. Heard it's less touristy than Barcelona. Thinking of staying 2 nights on our way to Barcelona. How did you get from the train station to the center where the tourist things are? Did you like Zaragoza? Compared to Barcelona?

I searched for him but couldn't pull up his review. Am I doing something wrong? Would love to read it!

We were on the Eclipse in a balcony room last month- all is well & I would certainly sail on her again. Yes the ship is a little worn- our drapes needed replacing, seats in theater & dining room also, but we had a great time. The food was very good. Murano was outstanding! We loved the cruise so much we are booked another cruise in a few months. Don't hesitate- book!

OP here so I thought I would update everyone. Prices did not decrease after final payment- they went up $100PP& now only SV & DV left. Someone must have canceled as we found a great balcony midship so grabbed it. Our TA got us a few days past final payment as we were watching prices so when they didn't decrease we booked it. So happy with the cabin as we had a hold on a balcony. We will not be putting in a move up offer! In the preCOVID days we always booked within 90 days & got great deals due to work schedules. Hope this is helpful! We are looking forward to another cruise! BTW we already have the Flora booked for next year. With only 1 Celebrity ship starting in 2025 in the Galapagos, I think the cheaper cabins will be harder to get.

We stayed in Guimareas Portugal & day tripped to Braga. Enjoyed that better than Porto due to less crowds. We loved Siena & Pienza. First time going back to Europe since COVID. Zaragoza looks great but we can't fit it all in this trip! Probably going back to Europe next year but we also are taking celebrity to the Galapagos & going to a bear fishing lodge in AK next year. So much to do! This cruise will be our 5th trip this year. Heading back to Great Smokey in October for 2 weeks.

We are used to touring independently. We speak Spanish although not fluently, we can get around ok if that helps.

Thanks CC your information was very helpful. We have been to Madrid before but prefer smaller places like Siena in Italy, Braga in Portugal. Have you been to Zaragoza? We have been looking at that. Way less touristy & halfway between Madrid & Barcelona with most everything centered in the city.

The NYT article paints Barcelona in a very bad light with their attitudes towards tourists. We have seen this in other places also. Cruisers don't spend a lot of money in ports. Did you see any hostility toward tourists?

Thanks. That was helpful information & I'll bring with me. Yes it's scary that taxi drivers are ripping off tourists but it's common in many places around the world. How did you like Barcelona? I'm getting bad vibes about it after the recent article in the NY Times. We are flying into Spain 9 nights early to visit. We were last there 39 years ago! Thinking of Madrid, Segovia, & Zaragoza. Do you recommend 2 or 3 nights in Barcelona?

Was that cabify you got? I like knowing in advance & not giving my physical credit card out. Also TA & CC has reported numerous dishonest cab drivers so I try to use ride sharing like uber or Lyft as then you won't get ripped off.

We are coming in June as we read that's the season. They start coming back in late April we understand. What month were you there?

Is it easy to get a car from cabify or Uber in Barcelona? I prefer to know in advance how much the trip is & have it paid directly by credit card. If you do take a cab, do they give change?

My husband really wants to see the waved albatross so would be extremely disappointed if we missed that.

No one ever checked what was in the cooler. It was only soda & bottled water. You aren't allowed to bring any food from the ship. I had some individual wrapped trail mix packs from home that I brought with me for snacks & we just skipped lunch.
