  1. Hi All

We sailed on Oasis over NYE and booked Oasis NYE 2024 while we were still on board 😁. Wondering if anyone has any pictures of cabin #9704. But while I am at it, any pictures of cabins #9700 and #9702 too?

I've searched on here and YouTube with no luck (could be user error.....)

    Thanks!

Basically they just confirm the three health questions you answer  on the app two days before you board.  Arrival time is the time to arrive at the terminal and you select a time when you do your online check in.

I've heard 10:30-11am was the earliest. I clicked check in right at midnight and the 1st time I could choose was 11-12. So, was the information for 10:30 wrong, or were the early slots really taken literally within less than 2 seconds?

It's just confusing because arrival time should be when you can board, not when you have your wellness check. I mean, people are excited to board and then when they can finally choose a boarding time, it's not REALLY a boarding time. If that makes sense.

  4. Hi there

Check in for my cruise is tomorrow, September 18. I went to the app just now and clicked on check in, just to see what it would say or if they open check in earlier than date stated. It said "Check in closed. Check in to the port at least 90 minutes before departure or you may be denied boarding." Does that mean all check in slots online have been taken already??

  5. Hi

We will be on Independence Of The Seas in November and wondering if the show times are listed somewhere? We have early dinner scheduled (5:30) because we want to be able to see the shows. However, I feel like we'll be rushed back on to the ship after port days so we can get ready for dinner that early.

We have cruised several times and have booked late seating for dinner and saw shows afterwards. I'm hearing they don't schedule shows to accommodate for dinner times anymore, is that right?

Pick another sailing. Click the person icon on the top right of the app ‐--> select a different cruise ---> browse our ships --> Indy of the seas, pick the latest sailing. The attire should be the same for your cruise.

Thank you! Based on what I looked at (Sept 11-15), it doesn't appear there is a White Night on our sailing (Nov 2-6)

Ok. Mine only goes until 3pm day 2, 12pm day 3, 2pm day 4. Maybe I need to wait until closer to sailing, which is in November? Which stinks because I'm a planner and it would be nice to know if I need to purchase anything now.

I'll keep a lookout on the app. Thanks for the tip!

The lounge is open to anyone. The diamond lounge is next to it. Not the same location.

In your app click on the current sailing and see. Usually a white or Caribbean night. Idk about this, I dont bring these outfits. I pack light.

Awesome! I am on the app but don't see where to go to look for dinner night info 🫤

  9. I apologize for the probable repeat questions but I am having a hard time finding the answers.

    For Independence of the Seas:

    1) Can we get into the Viking Crown Lounge as NOT a diamond member?

    2) Where can I find a list of theme nights for dinner and what nights they are? i.e. white night, formal night any other night?

    Thanks!

They're just a wearable extension of your SeaPass card. It won't get you anywhere that that won't.

Hmmmm, ok we'll I just watched a vlog and they showed a sign that said you couldn't get up to deck 16 unless you had the WOW band 🤷

  11. I'm trying to Google the answer but am having no luck. We were on NCL Pearl in July 2013 (to Alaska) and I think the cruise director was Ricky. But I've also been hearing that he is now on Independence Of The Seas, which I will be on in November. Is there any way to find out this information? Just more curious than anything.

    Thanks!

  12. We haven't been to Coco Cay serve they refurbished it.

Would like to know where is the best, free, place to park ourselves for the day? There will be 6 adults. Any tips for anything that would make our time there fun would be appreciated! What time should we get off the ship, best food area, etc 😊

What ship isn't sailing? Barring a few that are in dry dock, all cruise ships are at sea every night of the year.

Looking at over NYE 2024 and when I tried to do a mock booking, these cruiselines don't show December: RCCL, NCL, Princess, Virgin, Celebrity, Holland America, Disney......

There may be more but I stopped looking. The 2 I DID find are Costa and Viking. However, it sounds like the weather will be quite cold in the Mediterranean at the time of year so I think we will stick with the Caribbean over NYE.

  14. Hi There

    Ok, REALLY strange question but......

We are booked on Independence of the seas, inside cabin #1581. Why does the deck number not appear on any paperwork from RCCL? Because we are also sailing on Oasis and the deck is 12, and on the RCCL paperwork it shows 12727 so I know it's deck 12 cabin 727.

But also, does anyone know if the inside cabins on Independence have a couch? I have seen videos of inside cabins for Independence and have seen some with and some without.

Are you asking how to find out if a specific cabin category is sold out, or an entire sailing. A sold out sailing will not show up at all, but a sold out category can be very fluid (gone one day and back the next).

The entire sailing. It's more of a curiosity thing because I see people comment like "My cruise is sold out how will I be able to move around..." type of questions. So I've just always wondered how they know it it sold out.

  16. Hubby and I purchased the deluxe drink package. Did the math and the whole bit to see if it'll be worth it in the end. Obviously it was a "how much do we THINK we'll drink per day" and while we MAY lose some money, we figured having to NOT pay after E V E R Y drink was worth it to us!

It got me thinking, how will we KNOW if it was a huge waste of money or not. So, I'm wondering, is there a way to keep track of how much we spend on our drinks? Maybe something in the RCCL app or something that exists out there? I realize we will have to remember to actually enter the data but, I just want to see if anyone has actually kept track this way?
