I've seen videos of balloons strapped to the ceiling when you get on board Oasis. What time are those dropped and is this every night or just the first night?
We will be cruising over New Year's Eve so do they do an additional balloon drop that night also?

Is there a way to find out the room layout for cabin 12727 on Oasis? Just curious if the bed is by the closet or the doorwall.

Does Deluxe include JR milkshakes? Or did the evil empire kill that too?
YES!! Love this 🙂 Although, my waistline may not when the cruise is done...

You thought you would never need to use that algebra they forced you to learn?
X = price without gratuity
1.18 times X is price with gratuity, the total amount you paid
1550.16 = 1.18X
1550.16 / 1.18 = X
$1313.69 = X
You paid $1313 for your package before gratuities.
Divide by two and divide by 9, do a little penny rounding...
You paid 72.99 per person per day.
The final answer is: do not cancel and re-buy at $77.99 per day.
TRUTH!!! Thanks for breking it down 🙂

Thanks everyone 🥰

At $77.99/pppd, the total price on a 9 day cruise would be $1,656.51 including the 18%.
$77.99 plus 18% is $92.03 per person per day.
Ok thank you. Looks like my price per person must have been lower when I bought the pkg then even though it was a BOGO too. If there was a way to just see a stinking breakdown of the costs this would be much esier 🙃
I am curious if there is a way to figure out what my price per person was at the time I purchased? I'm not a math person so I wouldn't know how.

There is no tax. The 18% is the built in "gratuity" on top of the 77.99 per person per day. Based on two people it would be about 1288 for two for a 7 day cruise. You did not mention how many people or how many days you had for your 1550.16 total.
Oops....ok so it is for 2 people for a 9 day cruise. Right now it is showing "$77.99/guest per day" so, if I added correctly, that would be a TOTAL of $1403.82 for the 2 of us. I paid $1550.16 which would mean if I bought today I would save $146.34.

All planner items which have grats added to them are added at 18%.
What about tax? So, right now we have paid a TOTAL of $1550.16 (which has the taxes and tips included). I'm just trying to figure out that when I look at current prices (which right now is $77.99/guest per day) is it more or less than the per guest per day price I paid. If that makes sense.

Hi there. Looking for some Deluxe Beverage Package help.
We purchsed the package during a BOGO about a month ago. I would like to keep track of the prices in case it goes down further. I can see the total price we paid but that total includes taxes and tips. However, when I try to look at the "details" on my account, I can only see the total and not the breakdown. Essentially what I'm looking for is 1) is there a breakdown somewhere that shows what I paid for taxes and tips and/or 2) if there is not a breakdown, what are the taxes and tips amounts that are already added in?

Is there a list of the dining options on Oasis? Looking to get a list of what is included and what we'd have to pay extra for. I looked on RCCL site but all it has said for about a month now is "Amazing experiences coming soon. Please check back later to see what is available for your cruise". Does that mean that the options change? Are they adding more dining? Taking away dining? Or, is that just a glitch in their system?
Thanks!

Yeah, you should be able to... we are only 3 and got 11729 and I think they are the exact same type of room. Maybe they do wait to sell the 3+ rooms to smaller groups until a little closer to the date
I actually called multiple times to get that cabin. I was told each time that they save that for parties of 5 😐 I decided to call again yesterday, just to ask about it. Unfortunately that cabin is now booked 😡 I mean, it's only 1 more closer to where I currently am but, would've been cool to be on the end 😁

Not sure what to tell you but we had 12729 on the Oasis January 5-15 this year and it was only my wife and me. We were originally booked in I think 11725 but I noticed closer to the cruise 12729 was available so I switched to it.
Maybe if I wait closer to sail date it'll open up 🤷

I appreciate these pics... we had 9705, which was above the carousel, a few weeks ago and loved it. This time we went up a little and all the way to the back, and have THIS room...11729 so I'm glad to see the view of the water is pretty good. Thanks!!
I tried to get 12729 but can't because we only have 2 of us. That needs to be reserved for a family of 5.

Haven’t stayed in 12727 yet but think there is a you tube video for 12729??
First pic is 11729 for what it’s worth—you’ll be one more up with the “bridge” closer and one more back
second is 9727…worse for slide interference imo…but still can see ocean and see the water show
we really enjoy oasis and enjoy boardwalk balconies so I wouldn’t consider your choice a mistake, but hope these help you decide….
Thank you, these really help! Happy to say we are not on deck 9 though 😳

Good Morning
We sailed on Oasis, boardwalk balcony deck 14 before the slides were added to the back. We currently have booked boardwalk balcony 12727. Wondering if anyone has any pictures of the view from that particular balcony they are willing to share? I can't find any online so I'm starting to wonder if this was a bad choice...

It will include Bailey's. They don't list all the different brands that it includes. If a certain alcohol is more expensive that the alloted price per drink (which I think is $14 now) they will charge the difference. For example if you bought a drink that was $18 you would only pay the difference of $4. Although I have never had to do that with any drink I've ever ordered.
Thank you! I guess I forgot about that part, where you just pay the difference 🙂 Buy 1 Get 1 half off today so I went ahead and purchased! I did call to ask if I find a lower price will they adjust and they said yes, I would just need to call them 🙂

Hi
Thinking about getting the Deluxe Beverage Package and was reading what is included. Am I missing it or does it not include Bailey's?? Maybe the list doesn't include EVERYTHING?

Thank you. I tried to Google it but couldn't find any info.
One other question.....can a drink pkg be used on Coco Cay? So, essentially like another "at sea" day 🙂
Actually, I just read that it DOES include Coco Cay !!

Is there a list somewhere that has the individual prices for drinks?
Pop, bottled water, juices, specialty coffees, cocktails etc.

Way too many questions. This is not a ride, or amusement but a bar, that you get stuck on when it moves. Yes, it has times to get on, but that is because it moves. it moves slowly. I honestly never bothered because, it's a bar, that moves and you are stuck on it, until it stops. I also would not call it an experience, but rather a bar that moves. (unless you like elevators with glass windows but you can grab a drink and ride those also!)
I apologize. Figured it would be better to get my questions all in 1 spot instead of multiple posts.

We've been on Oasis before but we had our young children with us so we didn't do this so I have many questions:
1) Do you recommend the Rising Tide Bar?
2) How does it work, do you need to make a reservation?
3) If no reservation, is the line long, and if so how soon should we stand in line?
4) Does it run during certain times?
5) Are you allowed to just stay on or do they kick you off and you wait in line to "ride" again?
6) Do you rise and come down immediately 1 time or do you rise, stay up for a bit then come down?
7) How long is the entirety of the experience?
😎 Where does it rise to?
9) Is there only 1 entrance to it and, if so, where is that? If not, where are the locations to enter?
10) Any other information you can share?
Thanks!

Thanks all. Sounds like I just need to read about it when I get on board 😊
