when i booked the vista last year there were no Havana rooms available so i booked an interior on lido deck. as the cruise got closer i checked everyday and did a mock booking. about a month before the cruise a couple of Havana rooms came up as available. 1 inside, 2 with the patio's, and 1 aft balcony. i quickly called and took the inside 5214 and at the time it was only $200 more for the booking than what i had previously paid. i switched my reservation without a problem and i was booked under early saver. i loved the Havana area. we got up whenever walked around the corner to the Havana area and never had any problems picking any type of lounger or chair we wanted.

I booked my Havana Cabana on the new Horizon 10 day Med. cruise then about a month later DW wanted to do the TA but they were all booked kept doing mock booking and my same cabin became available for the TA and i booked immediately, 24 days in the same cabin and all the sea relaxing sea days can't wait so excited.

I live close to Malaga and know the city very well.

 

If anyone visiting Malaga on a cruise has any questions, I will be happy to help! Malaga is a great city and has many things to see in the city and around the city.

we arrive the 11th of May and have a excursion to Cordoba what can you tell me about places to see and do there.

Extra hangers. Not sure how many the Cove Balcony cabins have and there are three of us...

No need just ask your cabin steward for additional hangers we do it on every cruise n/c

We are using Spaindaytour on our up coming cruise to Santiaga de Compostela very interesting place looked it up on Youtube

I have mine booked for the April 9 to May 23 Med cruise 24 days in a Havana Cabana Cabin can't wait a quite area to be after a long day on excursions, no chair hogs, enjoy the pool and hot tubes, i did not have to think twice about my decision

you get to the airport check your luggage and you are 8lbs overweight if you had a scale problem solved beforehand.

Deck 5 I may not be able to cruise in a balcony after this experience i guess we will see can't wait

We always have the Hotel store our luggage if we arrive early for check-in. but be aware if the hotel have a room for you when you arrive early and you accept it make sure they do not charge you for another day, this was talked about on other forums.

We normally do Pre cruise stay and the morning of the cruise before we leave the hotel we put our cabin stickers on we use plastic sleeves.

We did this a couple of years ago and enjoyed ii very much. You pay for the food and then you pay what you want to the tour guide. I think each food stop (3 or 4) was 5-10 Euros a person, and then we paid the tour guide 20 Euros.

Curious as to know what Co. you used for this tour never heard of this type of tour, you pay for the tapas ETC.

Our plane will arrive in Barcelona April 2018 early afternoon and looking to do a Tapas tour the evening we arrive any suggestion on free or fee base walking tapas tours.

So can someone please fill me in? Do you need to use a TA (travel agent) to book a TA (transatlantic)?

 

I've searched high and low on the Carnival site for a May transatlantic cruise from Barcelona to NY and can't find anything!

 

Not really serious about booking it or I'd call my PVP, but just dream-building, in case my PowerBall number comes in tonight! :cool:

I would assume the TA cruise is sold out again keep checking a cabin or two may become available the closer to final pymt.

I’m not on the TA cruise. Is your link restricted to those passengers? I’m trying to get an idea as to hotels for a round trip Barcelona cruise. My first solo and looking for something nice and safe

I was on a Vista Med cruise and we brought alcohol on board at the ports and directly to our cabin with no problem. I plan on doing it again on the Horizon. It was wonderful. Very different from our Caribbean and Mexico experiences.

Thanks for the confirmation my PVP was right now i need to save up to purchase at every port

I posed this question early last year with my PVP when i booked the Horizon, he was on the Vista Med. cruise and told me they purchased wine from every port and had No problem keeping it, others have also said the same who were on the Vista, so i guess we will see if this hold true on the Horizon.

I have never been to Barcelona but researched Hotel Europark it is in a great location but i will post our spreadsheet www.cruisingeverywhere.com/

We are booked for April 29 Med.10 days and 14 day May 9 TA

I had a cruise for Dec.3 but cancelled and rebooked for May 2018. I booked Hotel Milano thru expedia which i will never do again but finally got everything worked out they moved my reservation to may 2018 with no charge since i did not want a refund.

I have seen the FB post also love the name told my PVP to let me know the moment the itinerary will become availabl, i hope with the new ship comes new cruise destinations.

JUST A FYI check in boarding times are up for 4/29 and 5/9 cruises on the Horizon

I don't see an option for a 5/9/18 TA on carnival site, or other sites...

Yes you can i use this method to equalize the pressure when going down, I wish they would give more time on the ocean floor love the excursion been 3 times different ports.

I received $130 price reduction on my rebooked San Juan cruise and was told by my PVP more may be coming < that will be nice if it happens >.

I had a Dec.3 cruise but cancelled and rebooked for May, 2018 since then i have received a price reduction of $130 and it looks like more to come good call i hope things will get better there love Southern cruises from San Juan.

Forgot one Barbados we used Ted Blades Tours its a tour and comedy act oohh also don't be surprised his tour is done BAREFOOT very entertaining.
