  2. Thanks for that, I really tried... and after 5 trips with diff Cust Serv agents, wasn't worth it. Not even the Finance Mgr onboard corrected it. Those Fcc's were suppose to go towards booking and since they were nowhere to be found? My theory is, it went to casinos portion of what was owed. Thats the conclusion we came up with cuz nobody could find it. (we can't see what they paid anymore) Long story short, I gave up. I really don't want to confuse the new host with anything else. I plan to win it back lol Hint, I believe the helpful host will be at your dinner. We chose TREK, cuz the Excursion is showing sold out. So figured it was a way to see it afterall. Are you going to CC Meet & greet onboard? I think its first seaday, check on our rollcall, will ask around Whose Palo? See ya there. πŸ˜‰
  3. You can ask on that Rollcall or post the question if you know what cruise dates youre interested in. Someone may be able to respond. I know there are 86 Prestige guests on our cruise early April, only cuz Host sent mass email to all of us and there were 86 cc'd people. Otherwise, you don't usually know until youre onboard. And you're right, the casino can be Very busy. I like to go at Off times, and hope that someone isn't sitting at my fav machine, killing time playing min bet. πŸ™ˆπŸ€ͺπŸ˜†
  4. Hello yes, got the same email. I've been emailing this host & heard from another. She said she understood how we felt being notified last minute. Was also able to correct my Transfers that were charged on my acct & had it removed. This is what a good host does....replies and fixes issues, amongst other things. This is Not my "host" who doesn't reply, and doesn't do anything for us. So while onboard, I hope to find out how we can change hosts.
  5. We were in Elite holding area in First Self disembarkation group. Suppose to be let off first. Theres No way that many Other people should have been let off beforehand. Seemed a free for all.
  6. I like your enthusiasm. You should be on the Host team. lol I know about the Trips out of Ft Laud offered and the exec dinner, yada. We turned it down as too close to another trip we just did out of Ft Laud, and to be honest I don't like flying there. Told my supposed host that IF they offer same on the West coast? We will be there. Otherwise, our cruise only a 2 1/2 weeks away and still No word. Prestige my eye.....πŸ™„ Also just got a mystery charge for 2 Transfers posted to this prestige cruise! Check your Travel Summary. We live close so are NOT flying in and do Not need transfers! No idea where this came from? Plus IF this is Prestige we shouldn't be charged in the first place....So I'm trying to get that corrected.....one thing after another. Thanks for your take. Glad you had a good experience with yours Sprocket.
  7. Thats the kind of perks I used to get regularly on Princess with a high level of play. Last few trips the best I've gotten is Balc, $600 FP and NO perks. Therefore I'm Not booking any more cruises on Princess unless perks included. I got one, which I booked. But many others Without perks, I've let expire. Agree with above that NCL needs to Eliminate the bogus $200 Admin Fee! Thats why I steered away from NCL when booking casino comps. Let me know if/when Ncl comes to their senses and eliminates Admin fee. Thanks
  8. Agreed, weve Never seen that many people disembarking at the same time. Why did the ship allow this? They were obviously NOT early self disembark guests, as many didn't have a roller bag with them! You were to have your Own bags to self disembark. Ship screwed up on this one. And weve never seen such a cluster getting to the Escalators off ship. There was No way to get to escalators without going under the ropes & getting yelled at. Ft.Laud staff really made a Mess of it! I hope this gets corrected asap.
  9. Yes thats the parking garage we always use. Be ready to be charged $352 for our cruise parking. Thats why I wanted some Verification before we Paid that. (I was going to have a family member drop us off & pickup. I'd rather give them $352) It sounds easy enough to get reimbursed onboard, but Who does it? And does it Really happen? We have NOT felt like Prestige so far! Reason I'm hesitant paying, is because last cruise I had to go to Cust service 5 different times to TRY to get my FCC that was supposedly applied to this cruise, but I never got it! Finally talked to Finance Mgr (in Cust Serv dept) and he gave me lip service as well. It was never corrected. $200 FCC down the drain. So I'm not feeling warm & fuzzy believing what they say.....
  10. Youre looking at an OLD thread. That info has all changed. Casino dept dismantled. Your 888# will get you to the Overseas call center. We do NOT deal with them. Get a Cvp & use them for all your casino bookings. More info in "Cruise Casinos on home page, scroll to the bottom.
  11. Have you heard anything at all? Were on same cruise, and still crickets from Prestige host whoevers? I've sent emails to a casino host that I know of on a different ship, and to customer service TWICE. Cvp sent an email to casino whoevers. Nobody has responded.πŸ˜– (I just sent a third email to 4 different Princess casino emails, asking does Anyone help Prestige guests?)
  12. We did that exact disembarkation last month. One roller bag & one small carrybag that fit on top of the suitcase. So yes, we had one free hand for escalator. We went to the Elite area for disembarking when they opened and there was Nobody there. No staff, No guests... it was like they all left. So we asked staff walking by, and they just pointed us to the way out 2 decks below. We had to get in Elevator AGAIN to reach deck 5. All the while, tons of people were also leaving then!?! Mind you we booked the earliest SELF disembarkation time, and were met with a thousand people all leaving Ruby at the SAME time! Never have I seen so many newbies, and wheelchairs and Everybody getting off at the Same time. Walking down the gangway, you could see the line was already long. Problem was, the staff OFF ship was funneling Everyone into ONE VERY LONG LINE for the Elevator! The line was NOT moving. So we ended up going under the ropes to the Open line that led to the Escalators! The florida staff OFF ship tried to stop us and a few others, but we Knew what they were doing was wrong. There should have been TWO lines. One for Escalators and one for Elevators! They were creating a cluster, and we had a plane to catch.

Weve not had a prob once were onboard booking Crown Grill, either by phone app, on tv (dining), calling Dining Line, or easier yet we walk up to Crown Grill when we see someone at the podium (usually 4-5pm) and book there. Also if you are willing to take 5 or 8 pm? Seems those are usually most available timeslots. For other dining like Main dining? I've also given up on the App as sometimes those reservations booked ahead of time on the app, disappear once onboard. So I look on the cabin Tv " DINING" when we get onboard, and scroll thru the nights, & book most Dining nights right there. Long story short, I stopped worrying about booking dining ahead of time on the app.
  14. I thought you only got airport transfers IF you're booked at the Princess hotel? We booked our own hotel in Southampton, so booked National Express coach from Heathrow to Southampton. Very easy to do online.
  15. We used (the old app) often, for ordering drinks & room service onboard. Worked very well. Also can text each other or use the Find passenger feature if you can't find your cabinmate. Check your Account... stuff like that.... we found it useful. Really hoping the new version works as well. πŸ™ˆ
  16. We have a cruise in a couple weeks. Was really hoping we could get away with the Old app a little longer. It was all done. Green lane, yada. Sorry to hear the old one is shut down. darn....
  17. Wow sorry to hear that. Our friends flights to FLL today to board Carrib were cancelled. (JetBlue said storms off coast) Had they taken the later flight? They just might have been able to board afterall. Unfortunatly they didn't have EZAir. And no way to know ship would return, if thats the reason its returning? I wonder how many other folks didn't get to board today due to weather and cancelled flights?
  18. Youre also getting the same lame-o come back & play offers. Princess is hoping we will jump to book these lesser packages. Plus, need to pay for Plus pkg or pay for cabin upgrade, etc. Your other offer, book by May 10...is also Not great, compared to the past. I'm letting those expire and see whats next.... theres no hurry, over a year away. Eventually Princess may come to their senses and want good players back.
  19. Good friend sent me a dozen little ducks for hiding on next cruise.... well once the 3 yr & 4 yr old grands found them at home? They decided their fun to play with, so the ducks will be staying home. (for as many Princess cruises weve been on, I've only found ONE duck) 😜
  20. I asked this question last cruise on Ruby, couple weeks ago. Seems its Not happening anytime soon on Princess, if ever. However good friend who cruises with NCL, say their (Ultimate) ship tour Has been reinstated and only $99. Includes the Bridge.
  21. I am nervous for you booking outside the alotted timeframe for cruise. Nothing or All could be expired if booking outside the cruising timeframe. It seems to depend on Who you talk to. Document Everything! Also, Do NOT let them get away with Not giving you your Freeplay! Some of us have been having issues with this. Make sure it shows up on your Travel Summary, and when it does? Bring the hard copy with you on this cruise. Hope it all works out.
