Oh and on some other cruise lines I have consistently lost weight because the food was so bad I didn’t want to eat, which could be a good thing…..

I think it is just fine because: 1. I don’t have to plan the meal 2. I don’t have to cook it. 3. I don’t have to clean up after it. Beyond that I will say it seems fine to me especially since I will try things I might not bother with at home, and have found some choices quite good.

Of course it wasn’t an entire paper. It was generally two printed pages of major stories from around the world, and as I said in the original post, “in summary”. I’m sorry if you didn’t understand.

Now that’s a good thought. We haven’t sailed since 2019 and husband thinks it was delivered to suite every morning. I don’t recall that but he is the one who cares so maybe it was?

Is the NYT’s still printed in summary for the library or is one expected to get it on their phone?

Yes, thank you all, things are very good. The newPCC, who many of the above comments referenced made things, simple, easy, and worry free. Not only that, he confirmed he would call me before final payment, gave me his email, phone number and promised to return calls promptly. I actually don’t think I will have any more questions but one never knows. Basically, he was very professional expressing how much he and HAL appreciated our business as 4* mariners and saying he was sorry for my frustrations ( not his fault) with my most recent PCC. He also knew my original PCC I had used for years and understood why I was expecting the same kind of service.

Talked to the afore mentioned PCC this morning and as mentioned by many, he was Great!

Finally spoke with a supervisor at HAL, who was very nice and transferred my booking. She told me I would hear from my new PCC in a few hours. Thanks to all my CC friends I was getting so frustrated.

According to my PCC’s phone message, her hours are 7AM to 3:30 PM pacific time. Since it is now 7:00PM EST I am guessing I will not get a call. I will try for one of the recommended agents tomorrow

This is probably a good idea…. I did call the general number and they told me my PCC would definitely call today. If not I will try that tomorrow. I really am a bit po.

I booked our cruise about four months ago with a new PCC, because my old PCC was no longer with the company. I have called for the last three days and requested a call. I haven’t received one. Now I am getting a bit aggravated. Has anyone ever changed PCC’s after booking? Do PCC’s make a commission on cruises booked, or are they on salary? I have never called since booking and wonder if PCC’s have no motivation to call once you are booked.

My brother and SIL have always booked a lanai cabin and bring their bikes for easy roll off roll on. As far as I know, no one has ever argued.

Yes I see that they are mixed up, as I will also hopefully be on the Zuiderdam voyage of the Vikings.
