Well yes, I'm with David63 on this one. It's frustrating to get a question wrong when your answer is actually right, and you would expect P&O to proof read their questions.

We watched an Aida ship docking in Oslo once and a whole rack full of bikes was unloaded. We were up at the ski jump later in the day and met all the passengers cycling through the woods on these bikes. They looked very fit.

There was a liquid hand pump soap dispenser thing by the sink. (I think, if I'm not confusing my ships)

I requested soap, conditioner and body lotion on Iona last summer and provided straight away. Did the same on Aurora's second cruise in April and after days of delay was eventually told there was none on the ship. Presumably this was supply problems rather than a policy but I hadn't brought my own supplies as hadn't expected any issue. So I would suggest bringing back ups just in case.

Saw La Voix on Iona last summer. A great act and would recommend if you get the chance.

Had a friend on Oriana who said on Remembrance day tgey gad a ceremony at the back of the ship and then dropped a wreath ir poppies or something appropriate over the stern. She said ut was very moving,

All emergency announcements are transmitted in all venues as they don't know where the staff who need to hear them will be.
Other announcements arenot transmitted in cabins as some people may not wish to hear them but you can hear them through the correct channel on the TV

The cocktails do vary from bar to bar on Iona. The Emerald bar in the atrium had something that smoked if I remember, and there were special cocktails in Sindhu too I think

You can ask your cabin steward for bottles of conditioner and hand lotion.
Did that on Iona last summer and was provided with them. Did that on Aurora 3 weeks ago and told none on ship anywhere. Even got a phone call from the hotel manager to repeat the above.

Did you get this lovely toiletry box because of loyalty level? Am I correct in thinking that you were in a standard balcony? I ask because we have just got off Aurora and I asked for some conditioner and was told there was none at all on the ship.

You don't need a printed copy but a good idea to screenshot them as you can't rely on getting a signal at the terminal.

I havecthe same issue when I view on my tablet but works fine on a P C. Also not showing any of my bookings on tablet but all there on a P C. Have you tried with a different search engine?
-
We were on Queen Mary 2 in February and had the same issue. Decided to aim for 2pm at the terminal and at least would be in the right place if we had to wait. But no one looked at our boarding time at all, just queued for test and then boarding and went straight through.

I think it was just the seacations where you could only book on board.

Happy Birthday, birthday people!
Well, the day started terribly wet but basically improved. We got out late morning and got our 10000 steps in. Lazy afternoon, watching the T20 cricket, then tonight really enjoyed a Côte at Home dinner. Wonder if that might be our last “careful” meal for a while? Booster jab next Friday & from what I’ve read (which may or may not be true) we’re up to maximum immunity from 7 days after. Indoor restaurants? I’ve forgotten how that works!
So, baked Camembert with rolls drizzled with white truffle honey
then confit duck leg and lentils with carrots and kale
and finally
chocolate fondant with salted caramel and almonds
All very nice. I really rate the Côte at Home offering. Next month is charcuterie, beef cheek and poached pears
I like your Poole pottery

I'm sure it didn't cost us more than £40 from Southampton to near Bournemouth last time we got off a ship. Bournemouth Airport has very expensive parking which everyone has to use so that may add a bit to your fare. I think there are a couple of Taxi firms that are allowed to use the Taxi rank and therefore don't have to pay the parking charges. Looking on the Bournemouth Airport website there is a link to PRC (used to be known as Poole Radio Cabs) who it says have a desk at the Airport so they may be worth contacting for a quote.

Cunard are still ships excursions only for Liverpool.

If you didn't want to go as far as Wales then would second a trip to Chester or take a taxi across to Port Sunlight, a model village built for the sunlight soap company and home to Lady Leverholme Art Gallery

Iona has a lovely indoor pool and hot tubs everywhere so you may want your swim things. Norway can be cold but can also be pretty warm so, as with the UK, layers are best.

And, apparently, they are currently in port and going nowhere as the propulsion system is broken! I don't know whether this has anything to do with the early morning fire.
Nothing to do with fire. There was an issue with the azipod. We are underway now

There was a problem in the incinerator but all quickly dealt with. Couldn't smell smoke where we are.

We didn't get an email but just looked under the entertainment section of the booking and booking tabs had appeared. Frustrating though that there are lots of tabs for things which aren't bookable. Clicked on films and it then comes up with not bookable.

We had a shower problem on Oriana, reported it and within 5 minutes someone came out to take a look. They arranged a convenient time the next morning to fix it and did so. I thought that was very efficient and good service.

This happened to me too and as I was at work at the time I couldn't phone to query it. But the next time I logged on it said paid in full so I assume all is well.
Smaller Balcony Cabins On Iona Query
in P&O Cruises ( UK )
Posted
We booked one of these by mistake, it was just the cabin that was smaller, less deep but the width remained the same so the balcony size remained the same.
