Cool Cruiser (2/15)

  1. Hi We are first time crusiers with NCL. 2 adults and 1 child. We have the Free at Sea option which I believe only covers the first 2 passengers (presumably me and my wife). We keep getting offers to upgrade etc. but not for the third passenger. How do I get the soda package for my daughter and how do I get her the upgraded wifi? I know from experience that it's cheaper to get these thing before boarding. The app only allows me to but things for the first 2 passengers. There's not even option for the thrid? Any advice would be appreciated before I phone up. Thanks.
  2. Just a quick update. Had to cancel. RCL were very helpful. Just had to email confirmation of the positive test. Full refund being processed. Could take 30+ days. Theres always next year!11
  3. Given the alarming rise in cases in the UK I'm surprsied no one else has asked about this. We cruise next weeked - 24th July and have tests booked in Barcelona. However, my wife has just tested positive in the UK. There is a chance that she'll be negative before we fly so we might be OK. If we manage to crusie does anyone know what RCL will do when we answer the health questioaire and say we have been in contact with a positive case? Will they let us cruise (we'd all be negative), will they quarantine us on ship or make us test everyday? Secondly, if we can't cruise I beleive we can get a full refund. I assume we'll need proper documentation to prove an infection. Has anyone got any expreience of cancelling 3 days before thier cruise due to COVID? How long did the refund take? Thanks M
  4. Thats correct all of the dining rooms serve the same menu, which does vary from day to day! Chic on level 3 is for those who have booked and early or late slot. MTD is at one of the 2 resaurants on level 4.
  5. We are in a similar situation for our Southampton cruise on 29th May. Because our 11 year old will only have 1 dose were are all getting supervised antigen tests the day before departure (she's got the 24 hour rule). We're using Dam Health in Bury. £22 and 2 hour results. Mixed reviews about DAM but most of the providors have mixed reviews. We are on Wonder of the Seas in July and since she'll be duoble jabbed by then we'll need to get tests in Barcelona ( we're going out a couple of days early). I know you can get them at the airport, plus DAM has a couple of location in Barcelona.
