The hard part is finding the right elevator. Just plan to wade through people :).

Timing is critical. Holidays, spring vacation, and summer break you can guarantee there will be extra kids.
But even during the off times, there will be kids.
Maybe look into an all-inclusive vacation like Sandals? It would be kid free

I like the upgrade. It's so much more user friendly

If you do three rooms, you will have to have three adults. Carnival will let you do a 5 and four. I doubt they would be adjoining rooms but you can get them pretty close. It would be very tight quarters but doable.
The pack and play would count as a member of the room. They don't count size or age of people but bodies.

I tried the patches that they make my throat so dry and scratchy. But then I try just going without it and I was fine without any medication

Wow! Are you expecting to spend that much? Are you planning to do Cheers or a lot of expensive excursions?

Go to the Maitre D or the hostess desk and ask for an earlier dining time, one might open up.

Platinum is able to self-debark earlier than everyone.
Really? I've done self debarkation and literally been the 4th or 5th person off the boat.

Do they want to do elegant nights??? My kids (similar ages) really prefer to be dropped off at camp carnival in the back area of the lido deck and eat with their friends. A 2 hour lobster or steak dinner doesn't appeal to them

Belize here too. I actually enjoyed the tender, because I like open air boat rides. But the port has only shopping/eating and the security warnings are "don't do anything on your own". And considering there are armed guards at the end of the fenced in port, I believed them and went back to the boat.

The roads on St Thomas are pretty scary. Fast drivers, tight curves, and steep mountains. Hold on to your little one as most taxis are open air/bench style.

On carnival, they're an older style but effective.

You might want to post this on the carnival boards as well, it gets a lot of traffic

Mine love the kids program on Carnival. They really tailor it to each age group

Be aware of what upcharges you might encounter for food. Not all places are included
Band aids/cough/cold products.

Walmart sells washer dryer sheets that are awesome for this. It has laundry detergent and softener on each sheet. So you don't have to worry about powdered

Burgers have no gluten...they are MEAT! You were probably still ill from the cake you ate.
It depends on whether they were handled correctly. Cross contamination is just as bad as eating the wrong thing.

I've seen rumors about people switching cabins to avoid the cheer charge. If they catch you, all the adults will be charged.

I save the money and just bring my own sodas on board. Since there's six of us, we can bring a variety of flavors.

Tendering is actually kind of fun. You get to see more of the islands and enjoy it. The boats have lifejackets, and the rides aren't really that long. Normally it's just a matter of people watching or enjoying the sights. Carnival has you wait and one of the lounges and then when your number is called that's when you go to the boat. And yes everyone is sitting

Whatever he wears will be just fine. Bring something to entertain him, meals take a long time!
