That is a great idea, I think I will do that.

Yes, I knew about the menu, but I'm asking about the mixers that can be used with those brands. I know for sure I could get Bailey's on the rocks but is there anything else?
-
I'm not a huge drinker, at the most a Pina Colada each evening. What kind of sweet drink would I be able to get with the Diamond perk. My last cruise I was able to get a Pina Colada each night, the bartender was awesome but there may be bartenders on Legend that will not do it, so what could I ask for this time that could be used with Diamond??.

I booked balcony guarantee on Legend OTS about a month ago, for sailing 5/14/2015. They ended up assigning us a category D2 but we didn't really like the location. I called and they switched us to a better D2 location midship. They assigned the first cabin 36 hours after booking. I'm very pleased with RCI in that regard.

Diva onboard, what are you planning to do with your luggage? You can't have purses, fanny packs, camera cases etc. They do allow cameras, wallets and cellphones. They mention on their website that there is storage for 3.00 per bag, but does that mean luggage or the previously mentioned items?

Wyndham Bayside is across the street from terminal, we stayed there a few years ago when it was Holiday Inn and loved it. We just wheeled our luggage across the street, very convenient. We are staying there 5/13 and AAA rate is 186.15 plus tax. I check everyday and prices go up and down. So far rate has gone from 209.00 to 186.15
They do have airport shuttle, after baggage claim go to ground transportation and their shuttle leaves every 15 minutes. No need to call.

Yes, it is RCI Legend of the Seas. Some folks goofed and were planning on checking in at Ensaneda port and board ship. There WILL NOT be check in there, they must first go to Pier in San Diego to check in and then be bussed back. Lot of people are ticked off, but those are the rules, at least for this sailing on 5/14.
Few years ago we did 15 night roundtrip Hawaii from San Diego and we boarded and they sailed down to Enseneda to be able to do foreign port, I don't know why this sailing is different, but obviously there is a reason. I have a feeling they need more time to unload passengers and turn the ship around for our sailing, but who knows.

We are booked on RCI Legend of the Seas 5/14 and they are busing us to Ensenada from San Diego, it is included in the cruise price.

Wonderful!! Thank you!!

My husband and I are both Diamond, do we each get discounts put on our sign and sail cards? Or is it per cabin?
-
Not sure, maybe there are no reservations left? We had really looked forward to eating there last month, but other than the tableside guacamole, the rest of the food served was just ok. We ate twice at Chops and once at Giovanni's and they were both much better than Sabor. Just our opinion, you may like it.

30 years ago we took our first cruise, it was Hawaii 7 night. The drink of the day cost 50 cents, HOWEVER, our inside cabin was 1695.00 per person!!
-
On Navigator two weeks ago we always went to Boleros for our "Diamond" drinks. My friend drinks Mohitos and I drink Pina coladas and our signing slips always said 7.00 for each drink, but zero for us to pay. We always tipped 1.50 for each drink.

The first TA owns your reservation. It does not matter if not a full service agency. If the first TA won't transfer [highly unlikely] then your only alternative is to cancel the cruise and rebook with another. If you are in penalty, then you would have to decide if the money you would lose is worth it. Keep in mind even if not in penalty you could lose the cabin you chosen, in between canceling and rebooking.

My bad, I thought TSA handled security at the ports too.

I saw this article and was surprised. Would the same rules apply when boarding a ship??

Can you buy bottled water at the bars-not the big Evian but the small bottles. Do you know the brand?
Thanks.

a year ago while on Navigator of the Seas we booked 7 night 2/22-3/1/15. The price for balcony cabin was 929.00 PP. In early summer they came out with BOGO and price dropped to 929.00 first person and 464.00 second person, that was an awesome deal, somewhere along the way they started this overpricing the first person to get BOGO. We won't fall for this nonsense and have booked a Celebrity cruise for 2016 which was truly on sale with 123GO. They will continue with this pricing until people stop booking it.

Thank you very much

Sorry for taking so long to get you phone number. The gal you need to talk to is Sherry Tinerella at 281-326-8050. She will handle by phone and email.

I cannot seem to find the post where someone listed the drinks you can order while on the Navigator but not in international water yet. Does anyone have the list please?:):)

I bid on Priceline in October for the night of 12/13/14. I picked the Webster, TX area. Fast food, restaurants, shopping all close to hotel. Would stay there again. I will try to locate phone number for Houston travel Zone.

We booked Hilton Garden Inn Webster for 60.00 night on Priceline. Parked our car there for free.We got Houston Travel Zone to pick us up at hotel, take us to port and when we returned they were waiting for us. 10.00 per person each way. Can't beat them for service and cleanliness. I wish they served Port of Galveston too but they stopped and only do Bayport.

I always color mine, takes 5 minutes to do 4 tags. Baggage people handle so much luggage, that anything I can do to help get bags faster I will do. You will get your luggage even not colored, but maybe not as fast. The first thing baggage people do is glance at color behind deck number, if not there then they read, it makes sense to me to color, and cruise line feels the same or they wouldn't have them colored when you look at them online.
New to Royal Caribbean and not happy

They are supposed to hold the new cruise and then transfer the deposit over from the old one, which cancels that one out. They should not have cancelled the original booking first. You got someone that didn't really know how to do it. I don't blame you for cancelling, I would have done the same.
