My niece is a flight attendant and people vape in the airplane bathrooms all the time, nobody gets in trouble. She thinks it's ridiculous that people get ballistic if they see someone using one, and she doesn't smoke.

Thanks everyone. We are looking at formal nights to do CG and Sabitini's and thought there might be a big line at embark booking those nights. From what has been said it looks like there won't be a stampede, so a stop off before cabin or lunch will be fine.

We are sailing on Emerald Sunday. We would like to book Crown Grill and Sabitini's. Will there be a crowd trying to book them on embarkation? Trying to figure out if we should go to cabin first to drop off carryon or go directly to restaurant. Can both restaurants be booked at Crown Grill, or does each restaurant do their own. TIA

great-thanks-I don't want to carry water on but I do want bottled water-I just didn't want liters of evian:)

I know that in the drink package the Evian water is the one liter size. Do the bars sell the smaller Evian water?

We were on the Navigator on February 23. We did not get on the ship until 7 p.m. Word to the wise-do not go down and stand in line-there is no food or restrooms available. If you have to leave your hotel go to one of the restaurants on the Strand and wait. They will not take your luggage until the ship is coming in. If you are at a hotel stay put and relax. The lines get very long and the wait is terrible at the port. All you can do is stand on the concrete for hours. A number of cruisers stayed at their hotel or in one of the Strand restaurants and did fine.

Good luck to all of you. I know you are waiting to be on the ship and I guarantee you it will be worth it. it is a wonderful cruise.

1st Weekend

12:00pm- Mystic Krewe of Aquarius 26th annual Mardi Gras Kick off Parade - We have come a long way baby! And we are ready to celebrate in a big way with our 26th annual parade featuring over 80 units including 20 high school marching bands. The colorful pageantry of the popular parade will spotlight 160 costumed Krewe members and the regal Aquarius royal court. Participating Krewes will be "Thalasar", Bacchus of Texas, Krewe DuLac and Krewe of Boudreaux. For the best and most beads do not miss this one! Seawall Blvd from 14th to 59th Street.

6:00pm- Krewe of Gambrinus Parade -King Gambrinus throws a party for 200,000 of his closest friends with over 650,000 throws with giant searchlights lighting up the night. Open and free to the public! Parade runs along Seawall Blvd. from 23rd St. to Central City Blvd.This may help you decide where you want to be on the 22nd of February. I would stay as far away as possible by going to the west end of Galveston.

We have a cruise special at Moody Gardens and we intend to eat Saturday night at the hotel. Sunday morning should be clear.
