@mking8288 so sorry I didn’t get to meet you at the M&G (silly time change lol) but other than that, sounds like I didn’t miss much. Sorry about your test results, but hope you guys are feeling better soon. Can’t wait to hear your post cruise thoughts, I have my own. Had a great time but some things are thought were eh. Thinking of doing post cruise review, to very good at writing though so we’ll see. Maybe just tag along on your thoughts lol. Thanks again for taking the time to do this, hopefully meet some time on another cruise. Feel better soon

@mking8288 thanks didn’t read that part. Still having problems with one of mine, really don’t want to wait online tomorrow to get help from Bermuda reps. Have called once, sent multiple emails, on hold again. Keeping fingers crossed. This cruise can’t come fast enough!

@mking8288 what is the provisional waiver? And why would you have to stay onboard?

Are the antigen tests the ones that are proctored via video chat? You can also get them at some urgent care… your profile says NY but not where, if you are in the city, look for a CityMD, they do rapid antigen tests

I'm worried because my parents are on a May 22 sailing to Bermuda on the Joy where they have an extra stop before so everyone needs to get a 2nd test while sailing.
Breakaway left late on my sailing in Oct as well but I think that was tides not just TA.
Not sure if this will apply to their cruise (things change almost daily) but hopefully it will and can ease your mind and theirs… the Getaway cruise this week was told if they do not get off in Norfolk they will not need to test again. So that may be an option, but if not, NCL will take care of the test on the ship, I’m sure they’ll be fine.

So....if we all entered the Haven pool area together...would they kick them out?
Will the butler only make dinner reservations for 2 instead of 4?
Just curious as to why they would even have the Haven connect to a non-Haven if the people you are traveling with can't utilize the Haven benefits?
They would ask them to leave yes. The concierge is very good at knowing “who belongs” in the Haven. Not sure why they have connecting rooms, haven to non haven, but people staying in the Haven pay a lot to use the services (as you know) so not fair for others who have not paid for the services to use them.
-
They cannot use any private Haven areas. No sure about the pre boarding or priority tender.

Asked same question on another thread, no answer. But yes I’m watching it leave now. Still curious why so late

Why hasn’t the ship left NYC yet?

If you purchase OBC upfront and the cruise is cancelled by NCL or if you cancel or change it to another sailing, do you get that OBC refunded, or does it get transferred over to the new cruise you book? I know you get your shore excursions refunded by not sure about OBC paid upfront. I don't want too much money tied up with NCL.
Gets refunded in form of original payment

Do the Macallan whiskey tasting at Maltings whiskey bar. It is a fabulous experience (chocolate is involved!). Get there early so you get a spot.
Sounds interesting... Do you know the cost?

@hallux thanks so much! Always like to see if there will be anyone I know 😊

Any chance you have a list of officers? Going in May, I know they can change, just curious. Thanks

Happily following you along on this trip! Have a great cruise 🛳🍹

@worktocruise610 - I see, you are looking for info on the free Rapid PCR
YES! My research has only showed where they are for a fee, but it was mentioned above she received free rapid PCR in NYC so I was curious as to where. Interesting and curious indeed 😉
I appreciate your info

@mking8288 yes I've gone & gotten PCR and rapid antigen at various urgent cares. I was asking about rapid PCR, have not seen them yet offered at the sites I've gone to

I just found out about this test and was surprised to find out it gives results in 15 minutes. Where I live in NYC, it’s free and apparently they can do it so quickly as they have the machine. Will do it in May.
Where in NYC is this? Looking for options for my cruise. Was thinking I could get rapid antigen but maybe do this instead

Are you including frozen drinks? I would try mudslide and Miami vice
mixed drinks - Jack honey lemonade
the raspberry mojito is one of my favorites
Have a great cruise

Did it show up as just $100 OBC or was it posted as two $50 credits?
Showed up as 2 $50 credits, one for me, one for my husband. I guess because we have a joint account

Hello! I’ll try to answer best I can, but you should also note what ship you’re on because they have different restaurants.
you can pre book reservations for the dining at (I think) 120 days before sailing. If you can’t get what you want they do hold back some so you can make onboard, but if you’re set on a date or time, best to do it before; you do not need reservations for free dining.
As for what is worth it, usually personal preference, but you’ll get plenty of suggestions. I say go on NCL and check out menus for the restaurants on your sailing.
Can’t comment on shows, I don’t do them.Have a great cruise!
How did you use your FCC?
in Norwegian Cruise Line

The spa could eat up a good amount. Also shopping, photos, anything in the stores, even liquor 😉. You could purchase FCC (future cruise credits). After using dining package, if there was a restaurant you liked you could go again, or try another one.
