That’s through April. I don’t think that was the question. Only Hawaii has been released past that point.
No dates were mentioned by the OP. She mentioned that the "only 2019 I am seeing is the Hawaii itinerary."
-
There are quite a few sailings already listed. When searching, click off all 12 months of 2019 and that will bring up those that have been released.
We booked our 2019 cruise just after Christmas last year.
-
Happened to me as well. I refreshed my browser and it worked.

There's actually a Sticky at the top. http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=2430498
I don't drink bottled water, but I guess it's still a good deal compared to when you go onshore and it's like $1 a bottle.
ACK! Sorry, about that. I never look at the stickies at the top as they usually never change.
-
I looked to see if it's been posted here and didn't see it. Carnival raised the price of their 12pack bottled water 50 cents.
It's still a good deal. I just wanted to make sure there were no surprises if anyone was expecting to pay the old price.

On our last cruise we upgraded twice. We originally had a OV room booked with the ES rate. I kept watching the rates so I could take advantage of it if the price ever came down. It never did. HOWEVER, balcony prices dropped significantly at one point so I called our PVP and asked to be switched to a balcony and he did. We just paid the difference between the two rates.
Later on, I found a balcony on Lido deck that opened up and it would only cost us $30 to switch again. So, I made another call and scored that room.

I was just going to say the same thing. It should be available for those that WANT to use it. I'm an adult and won't be forced to use any. People have a false sense of security with sanitizer. It isn't nearly as good as people seem to believe. Simple hand washing is all that is necessary.
A big "thumb's up".
-
I'm going to gently beg to differ. When you see people wiping their eyes, mouth and nose with their hands then touching tongs it's just gross. Or pulling their wedgie out of their hiney or touching their feet:eek: There need to be some type of protective measure in place. I do sanitize before and after using the tongs, etc.
So what good is sanitizing enforcement if wiping eyes, mouth and nose with hands then touching tongs, pulling their wedgie out of their hiney or touching their feet happens while in line??? None.
The protective measure in place is you washing on your own accord and being responsible for your own well being. You can have all the protective measures in the world, but they are not fool proof.

The ship was pretty clean, although there is no enforcement for hand sanitizing in the eating areas.
And there shouldn't be enforcement of hand sanitizing. Some people are allergic/sensitive to the stuff. Some people wash before going into the eating areas. Just because you didn't see it happen, doesn't mean it didn't.
I wash before eating. If it were enforced, I'd just walk on by. I am an adult and do not need someone watching over me to make sure I do so.

No. Time was the main bed in the room was a queen bed comprised of two twins pushed together.
They've all been changed out. The main bed in all the rooms now is a queen bed.
The minimum number of beds available in any rooms is two - the queen bed (for 2 people) and a sofa bed (that sleeps one). Some rooms sleep 4 (adding a bunk bed above the sofa bed). And a few sleep 5 (murphy bed added).
The sofa bed, bunk bed, and murphy beds are all twin sized.
That's what I suspected. Thanks for the info and quick reply, Shmoo.

My adult daughter and I are looking to do a Mom/Daughter trip. :) We are relatively new to cruising as we went on our first ever cruise this past February and we just debarked our 2nd cruise a couple of weeks ago. Both were with Carnival.
I am in the process of reading and learning the in's and out's of how Disney cruises work. I was looking at DCL's site today to price a cruise on the Magic. I was looking at a Deluxe Oceanview and I see that it has a queen bed listed. Even when I venture to the Deluxe Oceanview with Verandah, I see there's the queen bed again. Does the bed separate into 2 twin beds?

This is for the 10/17/16 Valor cruise.
October 12, 2016
Dear Carnival Valor Guest,
We're sure you are looking forward to you cruise on Monday so we'd like a moment of your time to provide you some information regarding our itinerary plans.
I'm sorry to say, Hurricane Matthew's impact on Grand Bahama was significant. It will take some time to complete the necessary repairs to the local infrastructure. We continue to work closely with our Freeport partners at the port, government and shore side services concerning the recovery efforts from the impact of Hurricane Matthew.
Until Freeport is ready for us to resume our calls, we have made some short term changes to various ship itineraries that will continue to deliver memorable experiences for you. For this cruise, we will replace our call to Freeport with an overnight stay in Nassau.
Below is our revised itinerary:
DAY PORT ARRIVE DEPART
Mon Port Canaveral (Orlando), FL 4:00 PM
Tue Fun Day @ Sea
Wed Half Moon Cay, The Bahamas 8:00 AM 4:00 PM
Thu Nassau, The Bahamas 8:00 AM Overnight
Fri Nassau, The Bahamas 6:00 AM
Sat Port Canaveral (Orlando), FL 7:00 AM
Pre-purchased Carnival shore excursions for Freeport will be automatically refunded to the original form of payment. For information on additional tours in Nassau, please visit the Shore Excursion desk located on Lobby, Deck 3, midship once onboard.
We apologize for this change in plans and thank you for your understanding.
We can't to welcome you aboard for a fun and memorable cruise.
-
Perhaps ask your PVP?
-
We sail in a few days and already have a stop in HMC. I hope they don't take it away when they re-arrange things to make up for the Freeport stop. It'll be our first time there. If they do.....oh well.....I'm very sure we'll enjoy the cruise anyway.
-
We purchase their 12 pack of water before the cruise. Once at a port, we bring a bunch off and whatever we don't drink (even if it's open) we brought right back on.

From Carnival's site:
Dining Reservations
Priority Dinner Time Assignment: FTTF guests will be cleared after VIFP Platinum guests. This benefit does not include specific time reservations for 'Your Time Dining'.
Note: VIFP Diamond guests and guests traveling in deluxe suite accommodations are guaranteed their dining in the Main Dining Room.
-
Are you waitlisted for Early, Late or Your Time dining?
-
I take my point and shoot camera to dinner because I want pics. Our daughter leaves her DSLR in the cabin.
-
I would say to watch JH's page on the other site. Yesterday, he said that they have a sea plane lined up to do a fly over today, if they can get it out.
-
If that's representative of the worst of it, then I think they fared well (all things considered). Looks like Fishlips needs a lot of canopy work, but the rest of that port area looked pretty good on the guy's video. Not sure if they're expecting any more water surge or not. Can't wait to hear the updates tomorrow!
I agree, the damage could have been much worse.
-
Because K KCpumpkin forgot to block his signature in that reply.

Thanks for the encouragement and bit of hope luv2trvlnow, glad it worked out for you. Do you know if they would contact us via e-mail beforehand if they were moving us?
I asked this question a few weeks ago because we are 3 in a balcony that sleeps 4. I was told by many members here that they all found out on their own and were not notified by Carnival.
I check my cruise manager every day to see if we've been moved. We haven't been as of yet. Crossing fingers.
-
Alright!!! Saw that on their page from the web site that shall not be named. ;)
-
That's what I saw as well ,Lou the cam guy had a few post on his face page .Also there was a few rather large boats that broke their mooring lines and were floating around out there.
Yep, those boats crashed into the decking at Grills. So much for evacuating the port.
