  1. How does this force you to "not use the sign"???

I just got off the Sunshine last Saturday. Our room steward met with us on day 1 and asked us to put the Snoozin' sign on the door when we were in the cabin and take it off when we were out of the cabin. It worked great. Not once did he knock on our door when we were in the cabin. When we were not in the cabin he took the time to clean.

It blows me away what people will find to complain about.

Because everyone that used to use it while they were cruising will no longer use it. How can they if cruising isn't available to them anymore? If you're this uptight after going on your cruise then you weren't on the water long enough. You should book another one ASAP

  2. I just came back on a cruise with a guaranteed room. My room was first flior, all the way in the back. Very noisy and a long walk to the theatre, short walk to go up the elevator to lido. Did I say noisy? Very noisy......still a great cruise!

  3. I guess hospital scrubs and prison convict attire are completely out of the question. Although there is a television show called "Orange Is The New Black". Wear something you would wear for a special night with your loved ones such as you would wear at weddings, funerals, awards ceremonies, etc. and you normally won't go wrong.

I will either be wearing prison scrubs or hospital scrubs to dinner on our Halloween cruise...

  4. In addition to providing the excellent customer service I've come to enjoy, recent examples of why I value my PVP:

    1. She forwards my shareholder documentation to the appropriate person each cruise so I get shareholder credit timely.

    2. She's helped me get milestone credit.

    3. I recently found a paper gift card that someone sent me before electronic or plastic gift cards started (it was several years old), and my PVP helped me get the value applied to my booking.

    4. My PVP provides valuable information allowing me to take advantage of casino offers that I wouldn't otherwise know about. (can you say free cruise?)

    5. She's called me out of the blue in the past to let me know I showed up on a list she was provided for free and discounted cruise offers. This was very helpful during the economic downturn of the U.S. economy.

    6. She always returns my calls timely to answer questions, and I know when she does, I can trust her answers, unlike the 800 number reps.

    7. She is very knowledgeable about what is going on with Carnival, and advises me of that information as it applies to my booking situation.

The bottom line is I receive excellent customer service, along with valuable information that saves me money.

Sounds like she's of good use to you, congrats!

  5. In galveston zone cards are handed to you on your way to passport check in. There are approximately 25 zone cards per zone with one zone card per cabin.

Priority guests receive a blank zone card, it has the same information as the rest but with no zone.

The later you arrive, the higher the zone number you will receive. Some days open boarding begins at zone 12, other times zone 32.....

With keys onboard it's a much faster check in, time in the terminal is much less than it was....

  6. My snagging was totally by accident along with the room service menu. I had put my FunTimes in a pile on the desk and things got mixed in. I grabbed the whole thing and put it in my suitcase. However, that shouldn’t have anything to do with why they changed it to only say “Snoozin”. I don’t think it would increase the cost by any significance to have it say “Crusizin” as well like they used to.

No one is judging, just return it in your next cruise :-)
