No changes have been made at this time. I wouldn't expect any for galveston.

I saw this one out there....

Be interesting to see what the Marina in Messina looks look as it leaves!!! :p
Lol, I hope they take it easy this time....

If you do it as cash online and you have keys onboard at your port, you will have to go through the second check in, meaning another line. If you do it as credit card, you can skip that Port Guest Services line and use the gift card on the ship at the kiosk or Guest Services there at your convenience. If your Port does not have keys on board that means they will give you your keys at check-in where you could use your gift card there

We should all boycot guys burgers. We should. ... I don't think we can though... I am too weak

Good times!

Yep, correct. Hopefully they won't let this worry them and just have fun. I had it once before we turned platinum and I dont feel like I gained that much. Some will like having their luggage earlier, and getting on earlier, but to each their own. To the op, just keep checking, it may come back before you sail. Are you on the breeze?
-
Your room will be ready at 130, so not much gain there. Excursions will cancel out priority tendering, if you are going to a tender port.all that's left is getting off the ship a little quicker... I wouldn't worry about it. Either way, happy sailing!

Keep checking, if you really want it. I think its overrated, but alot of people love it.
Does your port have staggered check in?

Conquest (up until now) did not have a Serenity Deck. She is in dry dock right now and the talk is they will be adding this, but Carnival has been very vague about exactly what all they are doing to her. So until she comes out of dry dock for her first sailing (next Saturday the 14th is her first after dry dock, which I happen to be on), no one can be exactly sure what the situation will be ;)
Sun deck #12 is the area with the bar.
#14 sky deck, higher up, without bar.
Serenity, no serenity, good plan to go chill......

This sounds nice. Is there any music playing?
On 10 there will usually be a band or dj. Their area is right below the big screen. You can look down on the activities on 9 and the pool, usually there's a good breeze. For quiet, follow the path to the back of the ship, there are several areas to sit and even shade along the way. Lots of people read there and look over the side of the ship.

:D:D:D:D
I started to comment on JH's page, but changed my mind. Not worth it.
John's using that as an opportunity for folks to talk about all the fun stuff they do while waiting on kaykay to board.
-
I doubt they are saying much about it
-
They do have an omelet station. At Sea Day brunch you can order omelets as well.
Serenity area will also have a bar that is open at certain times, it's high up with a good view. In deck 10, right above the pool area, there is plenty of seating and the servers come up there.
As someone mentioned, the bars are on 9 at the pool, and that view is behind glass.

You can take a look at the deck plans on carnival.com

All the naysayers can just keep shaking their heads and fingers in disbelief instead of just verifying it for themselves.
lol

The event hasn't happened yet, it is only planned. You will have to wait until after you have sailed on the different itenerary. Unforeseen circumstances could change your itinerary again at this point.
-
It will come back if someone cancels, which happens often . Keep checking and if you want it don't wait when you see it!
-
Good luck to you!
Keep in mind that guests that are booked within 24 hours of sailing are scrutinized a little more thoroughly.... make sure all of their documentation for travel is in order and present at check in.

I think you are going to start hearing the name Leigh Xureb more and more. He was our CD on the Sunshine in June and was fantastic! I think he was with another cruise line before.
Leigh is very good, Australian fellow. I like Corey Rogers (3x)(no longer with carnival), jase (2x), and Frank the tank(4x). I've cruised with malcom many times (7+), kind of funny, but not CD of the year, in my opinion. The rest that I have cruised with are forgettable. John heald is fun(1x), but he's not really in the same category .

I understand your question. On the ship, they offer a day rate and a trip rate. The trip rate is cheaper. I would guess that the trip or duration rate wiuld be cheaper if purchased before rather than during the cruise. I am pretty sure but not 100%. I would go ahead and do it before, I bet you come out ahead...
-
You can even put all your cash down and pull it out of the kiosk anytime during the trip, anytime you have excess that is. At the kiosk you can also put spending limits on people's sail & Sign card that you are responsible for
-
Thanks! I've seen your posts, and I write down about every other thing you say. :')
Haha, lol. Happy cruising!

You will probably go to the ealy check in line then, if you make it before 1030=1100 it will be painless for you.
If you have any questions let me know, I am very familiar with the terminal there and procedures.

I always manage to find something though. Look for the free liquor tasting too that first night , usually 700 or 730...
