Wow! Just wow! Following suit of other cruise lines…😥

It’s available in most cruise lines. They have a special wine stage place. Easy peasy no matter what dining room you are eating in. 

I imagine they will hold it. Just ask when you board. I don’t think cruise critic will do away with roll calls. Some cruise lines may choose to not host but they have been doing that for years. Silly imho. Last summer Azamara had drinks and appetizers and the cruise director showed up. Very nice.  

After several bad experiences on multiple cruise lines we always do our own flights! 

Viator is a wonderful website with potential excursions all over the world. It will give you an idea of what’s available in each city you visit. Many can be shore excursions. Reliable company!

Suggest you wait a bit. Let those traveling really soon get their stuff settled. 

I would suggest not waiting any more.. lots of people traveling. Europe is always  $$$ but now it’s nuts! 

Those with cruises 11 months out please wait a bit so those of us with nearer cruises next month can. Get help! You r got plenty of time to get it sorted!

Indeed. Huge tourist trap imho. Lots of leaning towers in Italy. Plus tons of pickpockets. Skip! 

We stayed last year at the Gia grand hotel bagliano. Wonderful hotel. Great location. Superb staff. Delicious food. Lovely rooms. Highly recommended. Pricey but worth every penny.

We have used the excursion company Rome in limo. You might try them, 

I tested “positive “ for three Weeks after a no symptom case of Covid. Missed one cruise and almost missed the second btb. 

We cancelled before a cruise due to Covid, it took months to get our credit and then we had to call at least three times. One time I waited an hour on hold. Still eventually got through. Emails don’t work unless you are talking directly to someone, 

I took mine last summer. No issues! 

In Sorrento there is a city run shuttle bus by the tender drop off point that you can take to the top of the hill. It’s a rather steep climb us and down.  It cost a few euro? Amalphi ‘s main square is straight ahead of the tender dock across the street.

The pursers desk has maps of the towns each morning. Some are good.. some not. I suggest research ahead of time. “Maps me” is a great app,. 
not sure what you mean by mobility issues.  the main part of these towns is flat. But walking would be involved to see the town. Lots of pedestrian only streets. Especially in Amalphi. 

We found some of the offerings to be very similar. We just went to specialty restaurants.

We liked Azamara a lot better than Oceania.  Friendlier crew. Better food. Better ports but then you are looking at a transatlantic so that isn’t important. We did have a forward suite and the one night it was rough it really rocked. Also it was over the anchor chain so when not docking there was a lot of noise when the anchor chain went down and up.  

I have not bought much on any cruise line shops. Most cruise line merchandise is overpriced and not my taste. And I love to shop! 

Also spirits are included. Gin, whisky, vodka etc. 

Eating no salads or fresh fruit except bananas has kept us safe traveling through the world. 
we eat hot cooked food.

Yes.. we were in a suite and we got ice twice a day!
