Another thing is that if you have a few cruises booked and try to make a payment on the far right one it takes you back to the first booking when you click on it.
I am having this problem as well.

I don't like the new format either. Why did they change it?

When I was on the Vista last January, the steward told ME when he was going to do my cabin. I just said "no problem"

I've only been on one RCCL the rest are on Carnival. Will likely stay. I think a lot of it depends on what kind of cruiser you are. For me a cruise ship is a floating casino and spa.
What I liked about my RCCL cruise: the promenade.
What I didn't like: the casino was in the belly of the ship and didn't have any windows. The spa rooms also didn't have any windows.
Most of the Carnival ships I have been on have windows in the casino so you can take a break and look out at the ocean. Also, most of the spa treatment rooms have windows in them.
The deal breaker for me: on Carnival you can do your own laundry. Yes I know RCCL will let you fill a bag and they do your laundry for you but I won't do that. I want to do my own.
On a 7 day cruise I like to take 3 outfits for day 3 outfits for night, do laundry half way through the cruise and then re wear them. That way I can just take a back pack and my yoga bag. Carry on only!

to add to jmcancruise...
two bathrooms, one regular bathroom, one has a sink and a tub in it...it is a very small tub. It is good if you are taking small children who don't like to shower. An adult can get in it but you can't stretch out your legs.
It is also a good choice if you are traveling with somebody that tends to hog the bathroom while getting ready.

I usually get the pass. If you plan on taking a class every day of your cruise it is worth it. Especially if you are a gym rat.
While most people make a bee line for the buffet on embarkation, I go to the gym/spa. They will have schedule of the classes for that cruise. They are usually located near the entrance of the gym. Check it out and see if the classes and times fit into your cruise plans. Yoga is usually in the morning. They also offer pilates, spinning classes. I just got off the Vista a week ago and they offered "total body" workout which was like a boot camp work out.
Every ship is different in my experience.
BTW the yoga classes are usually sun salutations with variations. Very simple and very basic.
Hope that helps

Whether Customs is interested in your BC/passport...could it have something to do with the port you are using? I come and go out of Galveston, they put us in different lines depending on which form of ID we are using and the agent always asks to see it.

can you imagine the mayhem if Carnival was known as the cruise line where it was OK to smoke pot while at sea?
Well, it's called a FUN ship....isn't it.
Last week getting off at Cozumel they had drug dogs, we had to put our bags on the ground for the dog to do his thing.
Frankly I find it sad that Carnival feels the need to send out a notice reminding us how to behave.
BTW enjoy the Valor. It's my favorite!

One time we had OBC from a travel agent that we would not have received if I hadn't brought the original travel agents copy of our Cruise Confirmation with me. They (another cruise line) had no record of it!
Thanks again!!
This happened to my cabin mate last cruise. Never hurts to bring receipts

Great idea snowdogg

Bring a couple of laundry pods and dryer sheets. I do laundry about half way through the cruise that way I only have to pack half as much stuff.
Also I bring pant hangers because there is never enough in the closets, also works to hang up the bathing suit to dry.

Last week I purchased in the MDR:
ECCO DOMANI, Pinot Grigio $39
Layer Cake Cabernet $38if that gives you any idea. The wine package looks like a good deal if you can drink that much during a cruise.

I got off the Vista last Saturday. Carb cakes were offered one night. I agree, they are one of my favorites!

Bypass surgery is tough both on your DH and you. Praying for recovery for your husband and for you to have LOTS of patience.

I have never had the stuff I ordered from the fun shops waiting for me when I get on the ship but it has always been delivered the first day. That is just my experience

I don't know how long this schedule will be good for as they say they try to keep the movies current. I watched Pandas and Born to be Wild. I recommend both especially if you like animals.

Just got off the Vista. We had a cove balcony which I LOVED!
As for fitness classes. I only took one Pilates class and it was interesting but not your typical Pilates class. For example we didn't do the 100. I did not take any yoga classes as I usually do because last time all they did was the sun salutation. Saved my money and did yoga by myself. The mats were in good to fair condition. Clean but some of them looked a little chewed up. I was glad I brought my own mat.

The older I get the less tolerant I am to painful shoes. I gave up real heels for kitten heels. Maybe not as cute but I just deal with that

Washing your face between flights is a great idea. I don't trust the water in airplane bathrooms.
I have a routine I call "weekend make up" still full coverage but not as much on the eyes, except for mascara. I won't go without mascara.

Possibley you could do without the heels and maybe the tennis shoes. Remember, you will be wearing a pair of shoes so they don't count in the packing. :D:D
Oh yes! I don't have to count the shoes I am wearing on embarkation. You are making me feel better all ready!:p:D

On a 7 or 10 day, I bring 1 pair of dressy sandals for formal nights, 1 pair of more casual sandals for dinner, 2 pairs of flip flops, and a pair of either tennis shoes or water shoes (depending on excursions).
Next cruise is to Alaska, with pre-cruise days in Vancouver. I'll have 1 pair of flip flops, tennis shoes, sandals/heels for dinner, and probably a pair of dressy flats.
Alaska is definitely on my list of things to do! I would have you would be taking some sort of boots or something more rugged than flip flops. Have you done Alaska before.

All of the ones mentioned, plus the Bar-b-que on 10 above Rosie's Restaurant buffet. It's never very busy especially on embarkment day.

I need to try that. I've heard a lot about the bar b que. What is your favorite item to get there?

On a short cruise, 7 day, 10+day?
I am getting ready for a 5 day cruise and I am taking 4 pairs of shoes. One pair of heels, tennis shoes, a nice pair of flip flops and one pair of flip flops that I don't mind if they get wet.
Seems like a lot but I don't see how I can cut back. I know some people take lots of luggage but I make it a game to pack light. So maybe you can make me feel better. How many shoes and what kind do you bring?
