Cool Cruiser

Cool Cruiser (2/15)

  1. It is, we had her on the Freedom on our Christmas cruise. She was fantastic.
  2. Not sure. Exclusive means exclusive. Exclusive during the day means something different. It looks like we will have to wait and see at this point.
  3. Under the explore ship section for the Venezia, it still says this when you click on each stateroom type. So one place says daytime, the ship stateroom description says exclusive. If other Vista ships are exclusive, I would hope these are as well. A Terrazza Cabana stateroom gets you real estate on one of the most desirable addresses on the ship: your very own lounging patio, complete with deck chairs and a hammock. Plus, you'll have easy access to the exclusive Terrazza Carnevale area. (All Terrazza stateroom guests must be 12 or older.) Amenities exclusive to Terrazza staterooms: Access to the Terrazza Carnevale area for that seaside-lounging lifestyle Morning access to the Carnevale Lounge for a daily continental breakfast Specially-curated brunch on select sea days, with a complimentary Spritz or Mimosa Sailaway event at Terrazza Carnevale, featuring live music Comfy Terrazza-branded robes and towels for your use
  4. Actually, the Venezia is a a Vista class ship and is larger in tonnage and capacity than the Magic, which is a Dream class.
  5. Following this as we have a july cruise booked, and have never been to NYC. Currently we have the transfer from the terminal to Laguardia booked through Carnival, but the reviews (what few there are) seem to point to that being a nightmare. I had considered just getting an Uber to the airport, but being a monday morning, it seems like that may be an ordeal as well? So private car is something I had not considered until now. I am curious if we go that route where they are likely to pick up? Can they come into the terminal, or would it be pickup off site somewhere?
  6. So I know that carnival has dropped requirements and testing, yet some ports still have requirements. Grand Turk being one. As that is one of our ports during our Christmas cruise, I was wondering if anyone has any recent experience with how that will be handled. Will carnival still verify it as they always have (I havent seen the vaccine questionnaire on my check in page since they dropped it), or will we have to show proof as we get off the ship, which seems cumbersome. Thanks for the help.
