  1. If you were shoved by an MSC employee you should file a complaint with MSC.
  2. I take it one step further and say the library in the back corner of 270. I want to say the 3rd level of the room but don’t recall. I think it is tucked back in the corner.
  3. Many folks that get Covid don’t get more than the sniffles. I have allergies and sniffle frequently. I won’t be testing myself to determine the source of my sniffles. I often feel exhausted, swollen, not myself on a cruise vacation. This is due to unusual activity that my body isn’t easily going to forgive. If I feel awful I will obviously isolate cause I don’t feel well. The results of a test aren’t really relevant. I appreciate the feedback and can understand the room service, companion, and insurance issues. I wasn’t thinking of those earlier.
  4. Okay, I guess if I feel bad enough not to leave my room I could see the benefits. Honestly outside of that situation I don’t understand the purpose.
  5. I would remember that if these folks were really that awful then that genie had been dealing with that constantly for a week. Sometimes folks under stress especially under pressure from someone that has significant power over them don’t make the best snap decisions. I would not suggest sending emails to top brass folks. It feels like this was more of a rude passenger issue. I get what you are saying but in this situation although I wouldn’t be happy with what happened I don’t think I would put it on Royal. That Genie could be thinking just like you that if they’d had a few minutes to think they would have reacted differently. Thinking back would you not have commented at the time if you weren’t a little shocked?
  6. What is the purpose of reporting it? Is it for insurance?
  7. I’m curious what reason you would have for testing on the ship?
  8. Thank you for posting your review. I do not require a specific font to read. I actually have not found a font I can't read. I must have a special talent that I never knew about.
  9. It is okay to just disagree. No need to add the rude comment at the end. Have a great day.
  10. Itineraries are not almost the same for any class. Not even close. These larger ships are very limited in the ports they can visit.
  11. They don’t do the MDR lunch salad bar anymore.
  12. I never saw it used but they quoted $100 on Oasis last year with the perks others mentioned. We will be on Odyssey during Super Bowl this year so I’m sure we will see that one in use if it has one.
  13. https://apple.news/AGszDO3JxTCidlUus6CkJrg What a cool idea. I’d never heard of this. Given the price tag I will also never experience it. Still cool though for those that can afford it and don’t have 6 months to a year free to be on a cruise ship.
  14. I can’t recall the buyin amount but I tried it last year on Oasis. I hated it. It isn’t normal blackjack. You have so many rounds of play (not very many) I can’t recall the amount and you need to make as much in chips as possible and the people with the highest proceed. You can keep buying in for a while. If you do the math the payout is awful. I swore never again. I wish I had watched more before participating.
  15. I’m not a fan of the Freedom class. They just feel like an enlarged voyager class. I love the Oasis class ships. I would definitely suggest Symphony. I love Central Park.
  16. I’m about to purchase insurance and found the story helpful. I thought the language translation information was informative.
  17. I think the point was probability. You are more likely to lose your life in a taxi on your way to the cruise than in a boat on a cruise offered excursion. It is overreacting because folks are cancelling things they have previously scheduled due to a story that is being reported on a rare event.
  18. Those are pretty much the odds on the strip in Vegas now. Unless you are at a higher limit table you are getting 6:5 payout on BJ with a few exceptions. Unfortunately it is the new standard. 3:2 is just a fond memory along with those $1 steak and eggs.
  19. You might be able to book 3rd and 4th into a different stateroom. If I recall I don’t think you get penalized for canceling 3rd/4th after final payment but I’m not sure.
  20. You seem pretty close to sail date so doesn’t seem like you’ll have a lot of options at least not cheap ones. I have heard of this happening to others over the years. I would guess being a holiday cruise isn’t helping. I’d get rid of the TA. They should have known better. Cruise capacity is based on life boat capacity not room capacity. People assume because they have the beds available in the stateroom that it will be allowed. Maybe they’d allow you to move to a similar or lesser stateroom that is in a section with room in the muster station?
