  1. That's a great price but want to make sure you are aware of a few things. When you go to book and choose the UBP as your perk they will add on a service charge to represent your tips on the bev package. It comes out to almost $100 per person for the week. So add that in if you haven't in your price comparison. Also, the bev package includes drinks up to $15 (and they do have a surprising number of drinks over $15) but excludes all specialty coffee and bottled water.

We just got off the Dawn. Made very good use of the UBP. Yes we had to lay the 18% gratuity for the both of us up Front. $199. We most definitely consumed more then $199 in the first 2 days. My feeling is, the UBP is definitely the best perk despite paying $199 in "service" charges!

  2. On our recent Boston/Bermuda cruise we purchased, for $250, the $500 cruise next promo. Considering we paid for it with winnings from the Casino, we think we got a real good deal! Anyhow, we are thinking of booking the Epic in 2019 on the Barcelona transfer cruise. Anyone do this? If yes, your thoughts? We cruised on RCCL Jewel in 2016 from Rome to the Greek Islands. It was 9 days and amazing. Concerned it will be a let down.

    Thanks!

  3. June 9th sailing was colder than most 57f - 62f daytime & rainy .

    Sea's were not bad.

I was in the June 9 sailing too. While it was cooler then I would have liked, the sail away party on the pool deck was fine and not raining. First day at sea was beautiful. Sunday morning was rainy but by the afternoon we got to watch the Americas Cup from the bow of the Dawn. Monday, while at Horseshoe Bay Beach it rained. But sun came out later. Tuesday was beautiful. Wednesday at sea day was sunny and hot. Thursday started if chilly but warmed up a bit later in the day. I'd say weather was nice 80% of the time! Wish I was going again tomorrow!

  4. I was on the Dawn the same time as original poster. Thankfully i didn't have the same experience nor did I hear if any thefts. We never brought anything of value to the pool or lounges. Hope this didn't ruin the cruise for them! We had an amazing time!

  6. Big fan of the Bushwacker - iced, with kalhua, baileys and some chocolate. The Rebellious fish is also very good - it's vaguely organgey but no idea what is in it.

Bushwacker sounds amazing! Is it included in the UBP? Leaving on the Dawn in 9 days to Bermuda!

  7. Hi....We sailed on the Dawn Boston/Bermuda cruise 4 years ago. There was a duet, Jose & Patty I believe, who played in the Atrium lounge. We really enjoyed them. I know entertainment on ships move around and it has been 4 years...anyone know if they are still with Norwegian and the Dawn? We are on the June 9 Boston/Bermuda and would be very happy if they were still there!

  8. We have never booked the Haven, so I can't say w/o a doubt I would rather two cruises in a balcony as opposed to one cruise in the Haven. I will say that if we want to take a cruise every year, then it will most likely not be in the Haven. That's not to say that if we unexpectedly found ourselves with several thousand $$$ extra...we wouldn't book it in a heartbeat! But then again, I'd be afraid we'd never go back to a balcony room.

  9. Hi....we are sailing on the Dawn to Bermuda June 9. There will be 3 full at sea days. Does the Thermal Spa

have a private area with lounges with an ocean view? The info on NCL's website is pretty generic and not

really ship specific. What amenities does it have? Can you bring drinks in? Is there a bar nearby? For those

of you that have purchased it on the Dawn, was it worth it?

    Thanks!
