We took a train between Venice and Trieste. It was very simple and took a bit over two hours.

I know there is a 0% chance of my Sept 2025 cruise stopping at Bar Harbor, but I'm genuinely interested in how long they will continue to market Bar Harbor as a stop.

It looks like part of researching future cruises will be going to all port websites and seeing if the particular ship we are looking at is actually scheduled to be there.

Four of us rented a taxi for the day for a $150 I believe. He took us to 4 different sites. It was a good day, but you had to close your eyes while he was driving.

When they announced that they would be doing this to the Joy I posted this would happen to the Encore and all the defenders listed numerous reasons that it wouldn't and said I was wrong. LOL! I will predict this will also happen to the Bliss when she goes into dry dock. And I really do hope I'm wrong!

From the cruise port in Ibiza, you can take the city boat to town. It only costs a few euro and takes 10-15 minutes.

I do believe there are extra safety requirements to use lifeboats as tenders? Maybe our resident expert @chengkp75 can explain the differences between a regular lifeboat and one that can be used as a tender.
