  1. Before I start trying to catch up with 3 days of posts… I want to send greetings to @dani negreanu and everyone else who celebrates Hanukkah.
  2. My goodness! You’ve had an even longer connection with some of the members of your team than I realized! That would make it even more difficult for both those team members and for you to say goodbye. 😒 They must love that you display their pictures and football things. It seems that you and the students share a mutual admiration. ☺️
  3. Awesome sunset photos! @Ocean Boy I especially like the composition of that first one. Regarding the seniors on your football team: You write about them like a proud Papa😊πŸ₯² You have been a part of their lives for four years now. During this time, you’ve witnessed their growth from boys to young men. I can understand why you would feel emotional at the end of their final football season. I’m sure the players are going to miss their team Doc just as much as you will miss them. I’ll bet many of them will come back to visit you next year and beyond. Take care, Sue
  4. Yes, I agree! They just appeared one day a couple of months ago - a nice addition. They are a bit weathered and splintery, but fine to sit in as long as you are not in just a swimsuit. There is a tall flagpole behind the chairs that makes a clanging noise when it gets very breezy. The sound reminds me of the sounds you hear at a seaport.
  5. Well, I think you may like to see a few of the pictures that I took earlier today. 😎 It was so beautiful and warm (71Β° F) and sunny here in SE β€œNew” England today!! We took a short ride to the small local beach near us that’s on Narragansett Bay. (It is a bay in RI that flows into the Atlantic Ocean.) It appears that the sea was much calmer up here than it was down where OB was - which is south and west of where we were.
  6. Hi Greg, When I want to take a screenshot on my iPhone or iPad of something like a recipe that extends beyond the visible screen, I take the shot and then the β€œshot” drops down to the lower left corner of my screen. I tap on the β€œshot” and then at the top of my screen, I’m given the choice of how and where to save it. Then I choose Full Screen and save to Files. I took some screenshots a few minutes ago that I hope will show you what I do. Hope they attach okay. I used the page that you posted your statement on.
  7. Awesome dancing skills, Dani!πŸ’ƒπŸΌ Love that radiant smile! 🀩 Looks like you and all of your β€œboys” are having a memorable vacation. Family vacations are the BEST! πŸ₯°
  8. Hi Jim, I decided to β€œrevisit” some of your photos on my laptop vs. my iPad mini, so I could enjoy them even more. I’m glad I did, because I was able to spot this very coool β€œface in a hoodie” on one of the icebergs you photographed. You posted it on Sunday on page 33. It is post #804. I went back and was able to see it on the iPad, too, by stretching it. I wonder if you will be passing by it again on the second β€œleg” of your B3B? Thank you sooo very much for sharing your thoughts and photos with us. I hope you will be able to see the Aurora Borealis tonight!
  9. @Ozark_Kid John, your grandchildren are sooo precious!!! πŸ₯° And I love how the captions you add to your photos of them really capture what they seem to be thinking. Thanks so much for sharing them with us! 😊 Sue
  10. oooohhh. . . I DO like this one (in addition to your original Sea Dog), since it's a Cavalier King Charles and as OB mentioned, it really does have that Caribbean vibe.
  11. YAY!! πŸ™πŸΌ πŸ₯³ Congratulations to you and your family, John!!! πŸ’ So happy that your DD and your granddaughter are healthy!!! πŸ€—
  12. Glad you liked my "captures" from the PTZtv New York Harbor Webcam. It is too bad that you didn't get to have a close up visit to Lady Liberty, but it appears that you and Iain had a better view of her from your balcony than your cruise mates on the starboard side did??
  13. @dani negreanu Our Dear Sweet Dani, I am sooo relieved to read that you are safe! πŸ˜… You are the β€œheart and soul” of this thread and I’m sure I speak for all of us when I tell you that we really miss you when you are not able to post. I will continue to keep you and your family in my thoughts and prayers πŸ™ and I hope your son will arrive home in time for your family vacation. Take care, Sue 😚 πŸ€—
  14. Hi Jim & Iain, I thought you might like these screenshots I took of your sailaway. As you can see from the time stamps, your captain wasted no time heading out of the harbor! Too bad the camera is on Staten Island, so there was no view of your cabin. Best wishes for fair winds and following seas for your B3B. As always, I look forward to reading your reviews. They're always so wonderful, witty, and detailed. Sue The ship seems to be listing a bit while making the turn? Unfortunately, an oil tanker? blocked most of the view of the Summit passing under the bridge.
  15. Oh my goodness, Dani, so sorry to read this. You and your family and friends will be in my thoughts and prayers. πŸ™ Please stay safe.
  16. The scenery was incredible, even though it rained for almost the whole trip! I took these from that little platform that's at the back of each car and only fits two people. (I'm not sure of its name, but it's not the caboose.) Please excuse the blur, but it was pretty rocky back there and quite rainy that day.
  17. We also went to Tracy's - but back in 2014. Those crab legs are huge! Since you weren't able to post a picture, I hope it's okay that I try to post a couple of the pictures that I took? One is 'a picture of the picture' that was hanging on the crab shack and the other is my hubby's "snack."
  18. @dani negreanu I reallllly wish you could get over that nasty virus!! So glad your hubby is staying well. Hopefully, you will feel your best for your family vacation. Take care, Sue
  19. @dani negreanu Sooo sorry that your vacation did not end well. I hope you gain more strength and your fever and cough diminish and your hubby continues to test negative. We’re looking forward to your return and reading more about your trip and seeing your always wonderful photos. Take care, Sue
