Bar was a very poor substitute for Kotor today!

Given the loud chatter we could hear from these guests below, I strongly recommend you avoid cabins 10323, 10321 & 10319. We are on deck 15 and can hear almost every word!🙄

They do a quite spectacular floor show with two aerialists instead of the champagne pour. The CD introduces the Captain formally with all his senior officers.

For those wanting a promenade deck. This is all you get on deck 7 either by Bellini’s or Currents coffee bar!

Many people were smartly dressed. The MDR’s let guys in with shorts and caps on however!

As it was a sea day, it was a formal night.The champagne fountain was impressive but isn’t built of individual glasses. Pre constructed with constant running water!

Not a place I would go back again to either!

After the Cirque show we went to the 11 pm comedy show in Princess live. The British comedian Mike Sealey was very funny. He was a more traditional stand up comedian unlike Ken Boyd from USA the other night who focused on picking on people in the audience with much more adult themed humour. Still very funny though.

The doorman counts the number into the Cascade bar, so many people would have been disappointed not to get in having waited for almost an hour. The show was very good but I would question whether it was worth almost an hour long wait to get in!

Even after the audience left we still had to wait in line for over 30 minutes. Then we were allowed into the Cascade Bar, but had to wait a further 25 minutes before being allowed into the Dome. Outside the Bar doors it was chaotic as people arrived from the Promenade deck ahead of the long line leading out to the lift/ stair well. They were politely told to go to the back of the line but some tried to push their luck much the the annoyance of those quietly queuing.

At 9 pm there was a queue forming outside the Cascade bar as the earlier show was still on.

Yesterday we decided to go to the Dome to watch the 10 pm Cirque show Blue. The Cascade barman suggested we get to the bar by 9 15!

Currently on Sun Princess. We are on deck 15 forward of the stair well that takes you to the casino on deck 8. My wife says she sometimes smells smoke in our cabin but I haven’t smelt it. There is another smoking area on deck 18 starboard side of the Sun Bar. It’s quite busy with smokers!

We are on Sun Princess now. I can’t book O’Malley’s or Alfredo’s via the App for any days of our cruise. It is surely due to them being casual dining venues. We went to O’Malley’s one evening last week but walked out after 15 minutes. Not enjoyable for us. The Irish band were miserable looking. They should let their faces know they were having fun!

In case anyone wants to know the pool depth I took this picture of the sea view pool but the measurements are over exaggerated. I’m unsure why they are so wrong!

The Sea View Terrace bar is in a great location but gets really busy in the afternoons. Queuing in the hot sun not great and the floor gets really hot if you have bare feet 🙄

Whoever procured these Eatery mugs should be fired. You are lucky to find one that doesn’t have a chip!

Your Elite mini bar is set up again but I hadn’t drunk much of last week’s😂

Spoilt for choice where to lounge in the Dome!
