  1. Dress codes dress codes. It more or less depends on the enforcer.

Not the MDR, but a more strict dress code applies to the SL on Allure on Formal Nights.

It names dress that is prohibited.

But you see all kinds of wear prohibited. Pictures from Formal Night in SL.

  2. Just looking at that menu I would be going nuts.

    Apps: Salmon Sashimi and Stew

    Entrées: Scallops, Lobster, and Lamb.

Guess that is the mixed blessing of having a diffrent menu every night.

Off hand, given lunch a try yet?

Not in the CK. We were off the ship in Ports during lunch and had the Tutti Salad Bar American ICON on sea days.

  3. Gambling is like smoking. You can do it but ther are no true benefits to either

    But smoking you can quit.

Was at over 3000 pts entering tonight's play. Pit Boss and Casino Host tonight said my points should be much higher tomorrow. Casino Host says any other freebies like discounts and specialty dinning have been discounted.

  4. Thanks again for posting these. Enjoy your last day on board tomorrow.

Added: Is this the second formal night?

Yes, second formal night but CK is less than 25% formal.

I will tell you that tonight's meal was the best food we have had on any cruise ship, in the CK. They do the Lobster much different and the Scallops were to die for. They serve the Royal Shrimp Cocktail with YUM YUM sauce but will bring or make you Cocktail Sauce your way. So far, we are very happy with the CK.

  5. Thanks for all the into Troy. If you want to bother, you could make our reservations for 6 all week. Carolyn Vincent cabin 7600. I have e-mailed concierge to ask about this, but haven't heard back from him.

Dexter said he heard from you and has taken care of your request. Have a great cruise.

  6. We usually turn the TV on when we're getting ready for dinner' date=' etc. as well, but it doesn't really matter what's on, just background noise. I actually prefer it not being anything interesting, otherwise I'd be in my cabin hooked on the show or movie that was on, LOL!

  7. How did You get dining reservations for Xmas cruise.?Am I missing something. I can't get anything for my summer sailing? Is that because it's paid in full?

If you asking about CK, there is no way to book online. After we got our letter from the Concierge, about a week before sailing, we emailed them back and requested our reservation times.

  8. Keep going!

The day 2 menu posted is different than Oasis.

Added: On Oasis it was the same menu as day 1. On day 3 it changed, but it was different than the one you posted for today (day 2).

We are on vacation. Too complicated for me. I will post each day unless Ms Mom gets too much on my case, even though she has me on ignore???

And on the suggestion of JOHN, I asked the wait staff to provide regular Cocktail sauce with the Royal Shrimp. It was awesome. Thanks John.

  9. Ok. They do 6, 630, 730, 8, and 830. If you are party of 2, you may get in at 7. I have no clue in what order reservations are made. We booked our 630 time a week in advance with the Concierge.

We are in Port until 7 and nobody I have seen yet here for 6 seating.

  10. I am still clueless on how players are rated on the tables.

First night I played only tables, made several $500 bets, yet my total points after day 1 was 208. I had over 10,000 pts on Serenade and bet less.

I played the 25 cent slots with a $20 bill, and received 50 pts. Don't understand how I could play into the wee hours and bet a lot while only playing a half hour with a $20 and rack up one fourth the points?? Points on tables are subjective while points on slots are electronic.
