  1. Thanks for the photos of today's port Sandi and Roy. The photos look like charming town. @StLouisCruisers I am happy to read your getting back on schedule after that very long drive in bad traffic.
  2. Thanks for the daily and maps Rich and good morning everyone. Thanks for the pi definitions Graham and Tina and Graham for Fragile X definition. Not a team member but I guess I could count my garden club. Funny quote. I like Cole slaw, pass on clammy cocktail and probably will enjoy the wine which I think is Austrian. Thanks for researching these for us each day. Thanks for the cares and celebrations reports Vanessa. Prayers for Tana, Terry, Chuck, Annie, Terri, Jacqui and Bonnie. Prayers for all in war zones through no fault of their own, Ukraine, the remaining hostages and the Innocents in Gaza. A beautiful day ahead here. If there are clouds I might go fishing. The lake is so clear and if there are no clouds or wind on the water fishing is difficult in a large pontoon boat. Have a lovely day! Nancy
  3. @RMLincoln thanks for the photos of Easo, we are indeed heading there on the Zaandam 2026. @Sharon in AZ happy birthday to Craig! 🎂
  4. Good morning everyone. Thanks for the daily and maps Rich. Be someone day is a good day, be yourself. No puppy mill puppies. Many times my old Petco brought in pound puppies and kittens for adoption.Good quote by Newman. Pass on the soup, @summa@summer slopethanks for the history of the old fashioned, I'll pass on the cocktail. I would like the Duckhorn Cab. We are stopping in New Caledonia in 2026 so I look forward to the photos though it might not be the same port. Apologies to summa. I am permanently on my phone for the duration. If I don't immediately backspace a blue bubble I can't erase it. @StLouisCruisers glad you are nearing home. Get some rest, don't start unpacking. Thanks for the cares and celebrations reports Vanessa. Prayers for Tana, Terry, Chuck, Annie, Terri, Bonnie, Jacqui and all battling COVID. Prayers for all in war zones through no fault of their own, Ukraine, the remaining hostages and the Innocents in Gaza. The laptop restart failed. The moment that I plugged in the keyboard backlight and start button came on, I pushed start and it wouldn't open. John took the battery out for a hard shutdown and as soon as I started it nothing happened. I shut it down and stowed it. Hopefully computer repair can get it to open, it is definitely a software problem because I had Blue Screens pop up several times in the last month. We are enjoying the Open from Troon, it looks really chilly there. Have a good day! Nancy
  5. Good morning everyone. Sandi, what a welcome back, I guess the cancellations are backwash from all of the cancellations yesterday. I hope if you can't get a flight today they put you near town so you can tour Boston. Nobody wants to do that after a long cruise. Thanks for the Daily and maps Rich. I like Tootsie pops also but my flavor was cherry. Moon day is a great day in history. I'll think about that and space exploration as I gaze at the near full moon tonight. A good quote. I look forward to today's port photos. I'll take my beef burger with cheese. Pass on the melon drink but I'll take all the Run Rig you can spare. Thanks for researching these each day. Bon Voyage @cunnorl and @St Pete Cruiser! 🍾🍾🛳️🛳️ Thanks for the cares and celebrations reports Vanessa. Jacqui I hope you are feeling much better today. I hope the surgery relieves all of your foot and leg pain. Prayers for Bonnie, Chuck, Annie, Tana, Terry and Terri and everyone else who are ailing or grieving. Prayers for the people of Ukraine, the remaining hostages and the Innocents in Gaza. I am going to try to restart the laptop today. It took a long time for the start button light to go out so I am sure the battery is dead. I will plug in and hoping the fail to start was a one off. Have a lovely day everyone. A few photos. A subtle sunrise this morning.
  6. @Seasick Sailor so sad to read about your DS Bonnie, prayers for her healing. We had some luck fishing this morning. Four keeper Walleye. We gave up because we got tired. Fish were biting all the time we were out. Friday fish fry at home.
  7. @kazu thank you for the update on your surgery yesterday. Take it easy and happy Ivan will be back with you tonight. @ger_77 the pink flowering plant is Sedum Dragon's Blood. It is a versatile plant and thrives up here at the cabin. It gifts seedlings too. @Heartgrove sorry Sam had a rough morning. @grapau27 beautiful back yard and Hydrangeas.
  8. Good morning everyone and happy Friday. Thanks for the definition of retainer Graham, I thought it was about engaging an attorney. Flight attendants should have their day and love a good limey cocktail. A fun quote. I look forward to today's port photos and hope to make it there sometime. It isn't on 2026 GANZ itinerary, who knows things can change, a long time away. I will pass on "clean out the fridge" salad, the cocktail would be a good happy hour tipple on a BHB and I will wait for the wine review, Lambrusco used to be a cheap wine but they are probably treating it with respect. I got really bad wine news last night, my favorite wine maker, Carlisle, is shutting their doors so the can retire. Instead of selling to a conglomerate or another owner, they respected their brand and will close. I just ordered my case on Wednesday. I hope they have enough in barrel to at least have enough for one more offering. Thanks for the cares and celebrations reports Vanessa. Happy birthday to your DB Terry. He has been such a help to you and Tana I hope you all have a lovely celebration. I hope Jacqui came through her surgery well and look forward to her update. Prayers for Chuck suffering from edema, Annie holding down the fort with no AC, @superoma, Terrie and Bonnie. Prayers for all in war through no fault of their own, Ukraine, the remaining hostages and the Innocents in Gaza. Sandi I hope you enjoy your last full day on the Zuiderdam and beautiful Bar Harbor. My computer battery went dead a day ago but with town yesterday and now Microsoft issues I will wait a day to try it. My problems began with a few Blue Screens requiring a restart. Have a lovely Friday! Nancy
  9. @kochleffel no fun having hypoglycemia, it is a crummy feeling. I hope it doesn't come back.
  10. Good morning from chilly upper Michigan. It is 45 but is getting into.the 70s. Thanks for the daily and maps Rich. I will celebrate Nelson Mandela, used to enjoy sour candy especially the Sour Patch Kids. I like to celebrate a cruise with caviar but HA can't seem to stock anything but Russian so that is a nyet for me. As @MISTER 67 said I don't know if I agree with the quote. Thanks for the lovely photos of you Greenock and Glasgow Sandi. I'll pass on the cabbage soup, the Absinthe cocktail and the Bogle Merlot. Thanks for the cares and celebrations reports Vanessa. Prayers for Jacqui as she has her surgical procedure this morning. Prayers for Tana, Terry, Chuck, Annie, Terri and Bonnie. Prayers for all in war zones through no fault of their own. Bon voyage @Lady Hudson!! 🍾🛳️ We are heading to town to pick up a prescription which is about 90 minutes away. Have a lovely day! Nancy
  11. Good morning and Happy Hump Day! Thanks for the daily and maps Rich. International Criminal Justice Day is important, so many more war criminals it seems in the last few years. I enjoy using emojis, especially when stuck on my phone and can't access clip art easily. A fun quote. I look forward to photos of Bilbao. I'll pass on all three comestibles. In lieu of the box wine I suggest Dehlinger Estate Chardonnay, a beautiful chard from the Russian River Valley. Happy anniversary Juan! 🍾 Thanks for the cares and celebrations reports. Prayers for @superoma, Tana, Terry, Chuck, Annie, Terri, Bonnie and Jacqui. Prayers for all in was zones through no fault of their own, Ukraine, the remaining hostages and the Innocents in Gaza. I have computer problems. My laptop screen wouldn't open but the on off light remains on. I tried the hard reset but that light remains on. I will wait until the battery runs dead and try another restart. If that doesn't work one last try with paperclip in the total reset hole. If that fails it will go into the case until we get home. Thankfully I plugged in the backup drive before we left home so almost everything is saved. Highs in the 60s today. I will work on transplanting plants since we have cool weather. Have a lovely Wednesday! Nancy
  12. @Hogladyrider I am sorry about your partner having short term memory issues. I hope you can convince him to seek treatment though I understand. There are newer medications that may help. We look forward to meeting you on the 35 day Hawaii South Pacific cruise. @kazu so happy to read Ivan did well during the surgery. I hope he is home already enjoying extra treats.
  13. @superoma I am so sorry to read you and DH have COVID. Prayers for healing for you both.
  14. @cruising sister thanks for the photo and update on beautiful, little Murphy. Prayers for her to get stronger and for her mother who is expecting again. Glad to read you are repeating GANZ in 2026, we will be onboard too. A testament to how good a cruise it was.
  15. Having laptop problems and of course CC wouldn't send my long message so starting a new. Prayers for everyone in our group needing them. Nancy
  16. @Quartzsite Cruiser good luck with your DHs neuro and CT scans today. @Seasick Sailorgood wishes for your DHs nephrologist appointment today.
  17. Good morning. Thanks for the Daily and maps @richwmn. Pass on the gummy worms, don't think I'll act a dork today but I could set something aside to bring to St. Vincent's. I don't agree with the quote. Haven't been to today's port but thanks for some further detail on the port @rafinmd. I'll pass on the salmon, the drink sounded great until the list of ingredients got longer. A Pinot from Otago should be tasty. Thanks for researching these for us each day. Thanks for the cares and celebrations reports @JazzyV. I hope you feel better today, vertigo is not fun, as are tummy aches. Prayers for Tana, Terry, Terri, Bonnie, Chuck, Annie and Jacqui. @StLouisCruisersglad Ren is healing at home. Prayers for all in war zones through no fault of their own, Ukraine, the hostages and the Innocents in Gaza. It cooled off to 59 last night and the cabin got to 67 degrees. One more hot day and then a big thunderstorm will roll through and will cool us off. Yesterday afternoon a half grown Robin flew into our bathroom window and died, sadly all evening towards dusk his parents were calling for it. Perhaps fishing today. Have a lovely Monday! Nancy Some recent garden photos.
  18. @ger_77 your summer fest looked wonderful with all the food and music. I am sure it was a wonderful time.
  19. We had a hot day yesterday so we went fishing. The lake is finally at 70 degrees. I caught 2 keeper Walleye, so big I didn't have to measure that they were >15". John caught a bass. John cleaned them and we had a nice fish fry with Caesar salad.
  20. Photos from Cockburn Channel or nearby. January 28 2023 on the Volendam.
  21. Thanks for the Daily Rich. A good group of days. I had a long comments for today but read previous comments that came in and when I got to page 2 it wiped out all of my comments. I won't do that again. Have been to the Cockburn Channel in 2023. I will try all three comestibles with the salsa minus the cilantro, the wine will be need to be shared with more than one other as it is 16% alcohol. A good quote. Thanks for the cares and celebrations reports Vanessa. @StLouisCruisers I was sad to read Ren broke his collar bone, prayers for healing for him. Prayers for Tana, Terry, Terrie, Jacqui, Annie and Chuck and everyone else who is ailing or grieving. Prayers for peace and civility in our country, the discourse and actions are sad. Have a lovely Sunday. Nancy
