  1. We are a little over 30 days out from the cruise. We did not cancel the transfer. I just hope we don’t sit forever waiting for people. Especially since Schiphol has become notorious for their long lines.
  2. A quick rant…. We decided we wanted to cancel our transfer in Amsterdam from the ship to the airport, I had read and was advised by others that it was faster to do on it our own. Our TA called HAL to cancel, and she was told we would only get $19.50 back out of the $78 we had paid. They charge a $58.50 cancellation fee! That is absolutely nuts. This is our first cruise with HAL. Policies like this will make me think twice about booking with them again, Rant over.
  3. They are stilling selling seats for the flight, so not oversold. Long story short I thought we had premium economy RT, but it was only on return, so have to pay for seats on the outbound.
  4. We booked Flight Ease Delta/KLM. Having an issue with the outbound seats. My husband was assigned a seat, I was not. I called Delta and they said to talk to flight ease. Flight Ease said they can’t do anything about it. I called KLM and they said my seat is under “airport control” even though the flight is almost 2 months from now. Also Delta said we owed money for the seat assigned for my husband, but there is nowhere it says to pay. Lord knows where we will end up sitting. Hoping this gets resolved soon. Having travel agent see if they have better luck.
  5. I called HAL and they said a 10 day package was available for purchase over the phone for our cruise. It doesn’t show on the app or the website. We are considering it.

  7. We are booked on a 14 day cruise in September. We can only buy a 7 day thermal suite package. Does anyone know if it can be spread out over the 14 days or do you have to use it 7 days in a row? Thx!
  8. Yay, website worked today so finally able to book our complimentary dinner reservations. Thanks all for your input!
  9. The restaurants are shown on the booking confirmation. You have to opt I. For the “have it all”.
  10. Still can’t book. Today I get an error notice from Holland America’s website. Glad others have been able to book their reservations. We are on the Rotterdam, 132 days till our sailing date.
  11. Thanks so much. This is our first cruise with HAL, so wasn’t sure of their protocols.
  12. We are sailing in September, and I went to book our reservation for our included specialty restaurants. I got a message that specialty dining is unavailable for booking and to check back later. How far in advance do they open the reservations? I hope it doesn’t mean they are already fully booked for on-line reservation.
  13. Hi Seaoma - yes, it was a spit test. It was gross and annoying to do, but in the end it was worth it as it seemed to keep more people from getting sick.
